EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! Ok so this was SO not how i was expecting the other book to end... or this one to start. But he has some of his memories coming back and Marcus has his new signature so it should be fine.... eventually... i hope. WHAT WAS THAT THING WITH CLAUDIUS AT THE END OF THE LAST BOOK????/ With him being the true blood emperor???!!! I was practically screaming at my computer going WHAT? WHAT? AHHHHHHH

Kiix,
Okay, I like the rewrite. *though the other one way fine too* I think that the slight insight into Skell's opinion of OW was needed, as well as his perspective. *shrugs* I don't know, I like whatever is written-- as long as something is written.

How does Armor know about OW altering the brothers? While I like the second version of Clove-chapters much better, I admit to find it strange now, that Armor let him go that easily. He is mind-talking to him but never trying to show him old memories or emotions? (He acts partly like Marcus, partly like Armor - I'd expected Marcus but Marcus never called his lover 'little one' and Armor horded his memories with X to himself ... I'd rather expected Marcus to sing but - due to the first-version prologue - I guess, he hasn't gained his music back. I still think taking it from him was brilliant but I hope, he finds it, next time he is facing the brothers and I hope it will be together with Claudius, though different from the first version. Both as fractured vampire and as a single mind Claudius AND Marcus/Armor must touch Ed's core, anything else would make me questioning their love. Music would definetly get through to the musicial part of Ed, so I hope Marcus will find and unfold his weapon to loosen the tight grip of OW on Ed. Once they have him back home, there is enough mental stress, guilt etc. to go through and overcome. I wouldn't be surprised if each part - out of guilt - stayed away from the former lover. It will definetly take time until they can face each other again.
Who was the 'suit' with Armor? It has to be one of the loyal, Claudius or the Lycans wouldn't hold still and let him pass.
Well, I still don't like that diary-thing very much; If I was OW, I wouldn't let him write a diary; I'd use a psychologist with conversation-skills and let him manipulate Skell. Naturally a social isolated being would hopp sooner or later on the chance for human contact - Kevin can't serve this purpose; he is no constant part of Ed's life and doesn't accept him, like several psychologists as first step of therapy. The way OW handles this, the breakdowns will finally occur again and again with lesser time between them.
Still - I love your writing!

I didn't mind Claudius' thoughts (as a one time thing). But hope the re-write works better!

Wow... I know I say this every time I review, but that was amazing..
I thought it would be unbearably painful, and it was.. but it was still so unbearably sweet.
Was his memory healed with the Healing Light?
I hope so... I really hope so.
Enjoy your vacation, but don't forget us!

Oh! By the way, I did a little research for you.. and this is a good book to turn to for a literary agent: The Canadian Writer's Market.
And check out this site: http://www.writersunion.ca/gp_main.asp
And, have you thought of being published in a magazine first? You know, a chapter or two.. such as the ones you use for your contests.
It would look awesome in your manuscript.
(I really want to see you published.. does it show?)

Wow.
In the last chapter of Caramel I was so upset that I cried. This is the first time I've ever done that yo any sort of book. I got really confused with the first two chapters of Clove, if it had continued to go the way it seemed to be going, I think it wouldn't have been successful as the other three books. I'm glad that chapter 3 cleared things up for me though. What happened to Sex and Az?! *shock*
I can't wait for the rest of the story!

PS- Have a good vaccation!
