Love the last line, it just adds a little bit of morbidly cuteness.
Alright, the whipping seemes pretty bad, but it surprised me that William was able to recover so quickly. Maybe I nitpick too much and most likely he can do that cause he's an ancient... but I figured I should say something other than my usual "Awesome!"
I'm excited for the next chapter. Protecting the covens should be interesting, I wonder how well our antagonist is going to be able to do it. Please update soon, I'm truly in love with this story.

I've read through this again and I what can I say - I never expected Liam in anguish getting to me that much. I mean, I was never fond of that guy and I called for it ... and now I find myself wanting to comfort him.

Out of the storyline but I wonder what happened if the ancients + William stumbled upon a coven-fledgling and adopted him. Especially if the fledgling was a rebellious teen. Initially I was of the opinion the ancients needed time together but I came to the conclusion they need someone (but themselves) to care for. Someone that can't be called a rival and who takes the focus from their somehow self-centered way of seeing things...

Even though Liam is suffering I'm thankful for you giving William his (hard-earned) heart's desire. He deserves it and so does Hades.

I still think Xavier has to stand up to Skell. Skell's locig isn't flawless but at least he is thinking of the coven-fledglings. The Riot-thing made me laugh. I bet the ranked, who witnessed the beating, wouldn't call themselves happy if the Blood Eperor called them family. Well after witnessing Skell's family-treatment even I would prefer to fly under family-radar.

I love that story. Thank you for sharing!

One little thing I caught - Armor tells Xavier to show him his "beautiful blue eyes" but doesn't Xavier have green eyes?

The whippings were harsh, but at the same time, the Ancients both needed to be put in their place and therefore made an example of to the rest of the House of Assassins. It was sweet of Hades to take the last whippings, and finally for SAXSk to heal them, but couldn't they take that and possibly take it as green-light-you're-forgiven? Hmmm...

Looking forward to the next chapter, was sad this one took a little longer to show up :(
