oh kiix - you just can't stick with the current matters at hand can you? you have some sick muse that likes to add more fuel to the already out of control bonfire. what are we to do with you besides continue to read and get sucked further into this dark/sexy world you have created. i'm loving the intro of the hunter society. i'm so waiting impatiently for the revelation of what will actually happen regarding X and Marcus and the fact that he was created w/out the covenant. this is an interesting twist you thrown in here my dear kiix. i'm not even going to ask/demand/throw a tantrum for the outcome of thomas, the fledglings, and the utter stupidity of the other crazy vamps running around town. I'm just going to sit back, w/my cup of hot cocoa and wait for you to spoon feed us the end results when you get good and damn ready. great update and can't wait for the rest of clove and the into to the 5th book.

I wonder if you aren't going off on too many targets rights now and if you will be able to tie everything back together. The boys are barely able to deal with the problems they have and keep adding more and more on their shoulders. Breaking the covenant as the most sacred-law of the vampire-nation could have killed Xavier anyway but now he put even his children in the line of fire! How could he do that? Many elder vampires will regard his line as defiled and illegitimate. He just fed the council another reason to remove him and his line from the gene pool. Giving the enemy an advantage like this against the whole house of V.D. is beyond excuse. What does poor Claudius have to do to drive a fact home with his boys? If I was Claudius, I ordered the immediate elimination of the regency and every single soul present that was unfortunate enough to hear X's statement. X may not be allowed to be his children's father first but he ought to at least think about them before pulling something stupid!

Amazing sweet fluffy beginning... And then wham. Xavier's all wrong-footed at the Regency Council. I admire him for aligning himself by the Coven Fledglings, but that is taking it a little too far. Although, I do understand his thinking that if he shows to the Council that he is the same as the others who came begging, then maybe they will understand. However, I would've thought it obvious that they wouldn't, seeing as they're so skeptical about everything else.
Still though, shouldn't the Lady Regent be present for all matters concerning the Regency? That would've seemed obvious to me.....
I want to know now, exactly how the Regency Council reacts to Xavier's declaration.. post the silence shock.
