I am in the middle of reading your book(s), I'm not going to comment but wait at the end of book 5.
(Well you can see, since I am at the end of book 4, that I like loll)
It's already 2 years since you finish this book so I don't know if you read the review here loll.
However, I constat some thing. Nothing big.
In the chapter 40, when they talk about found Kevin maker, they name her Emily Gregory, but when Kevin name his maker in the chapter 4, her name was Gina.
Gwengwel.
P.s. English's not my mother tongue, I hope that I didn't make too much fault.

Okk... First of all... I've been reading your books for a while now and I'm enjoying it... But I have some questions:
1. Why did Armor fall for X if it was Sex who stabbed him? Love at first sight or what?
2. How come Orel Wessel didn't know X was emperor when he was captured? Who did they think he was and why were they following him around if they didn't know?
I'll think of more questions :D. For now, carry on with your work and good luck on your publishing...

Aww...
I've almost caught up with you now!
Unfortunately the piano song I mentioned in a previous review will have to be on hold as I am sick as a dog with the flu. And maybe bronchitis.
I can't wait to start the next book. As such, I'm ending my review here--

You're forgiven for what happened at the end of Caramel...for now. I feel strange reviewing something in the middle that is complete with a sequel...

For some reason this story is getting a huge emotional reaction from me... As a musician in general and a pianist in particular, nearly anything to do with the crimson grand has left me in tears. And Marcus...losing his music... Okay, I'm not going to cry anymore. Probably.
I wrote a song that brings me in mind of this story, especially the relationship between Claudius and Sex. I'll see if I can review a link to it soon...

I finally finished this story, and I LOVED IT! Absolutely amazing. I love the way you weave everything together. It is an amazingly complex plot, but you handle it masterfully.
Question: Xavier (or whoever went crazy at the warehouse) tasted Haley's blood right? So what's Haley's essence?
