Hey, sorry for my sudden and long reviewing absense! Went on a trip during the holidays and then immediately got the world's worst flu that turned into pneumonia lol. But I'm back now and will get to reading the new updates asap. Hope the story is going as well as ever and that Ayve has had time to think over a few things. I'll read them and will let you know what I think soon, promise, just didn't want you to think I stopped caring or anything. :)

Welcome back! I hope you have fully recovered. -And I hope you still talk to me after reading the update(s). I swear there'll be a second volume, I do. I won't promise anything concerning its contents but I WANT to write it and I have a few basic points in it outlined already.
Be mercyful...

And.... that's it? T_T You are leaving us like this?
T_T Cruel... very very cruel.
For vol.2...I don't know... I guess I want Ayve to turn around and realize Stephen CAN be and SHOULD be his home. That that's the way he should turn to and fight for. Because that's what he really wants. And I want him to have to work hard for it. But... I don't know. XDDD I trust your judgement.
Damn T_T I can't believe you gave us such a sad end. T_T Thanks god there is a volume 2!!!! *grins* If there bwasn't I would have to hate you. XDDDDDD j/k :p

"And I want him to have to work hard for it."
Little sadist, you. ;) Hasn't he suffered enough in his life? How much more energy is he supposed to have after all he's been through? You're still seeing things too much from Stephen's perspective (which is unerstandable as most of the first volume is written from his point of view) - try to find out how Ayve must be feeling...
"Thanks god there is a volume 2!!!! *grins* If there bwasn't I would have to hate you."
Vol.1 would have continued then, yet through ending this volume and starting a new one I'm abled to shift a few things within the story and give it a new drive. I wouldn't have known how to keep the plot interesting otherwise. The extreme ending had to be; I did not want to write it but I wanted/needed a turning point, something that justifies starting a new volume. If you look up I was still thinking that Alannah would stay alive and be part of the next book a few days ago.
Thank you for reviewing!

Man, I just want to walk up behind Ayve and give him a good ol' shove over a pier or something. Really! He's so inconsiderate! And to think he's opened up so much to Stephen and then he goes and treats him like the lowest man on the totem pole.
I just... argh. He frustrates me. If I'm looking at it objectively, I should be just as angry with him over how he's treating Alannah. But I can't. I love my poor little Stephen. :) He's trying so hard and giving so much and the dude's just getting screwed over.
I'm afraid the end's leading up to a big break up and though that will crush me (although props to Stephen for being a man and standing up for himself!), I've at least got the second volume to look forward too, right?

Hello gal,
thank you for enjoying Nymphaea! I can guarantee you, Ayve will not leave Stephen. That would be a little lame, wouldn't it? But I won't promise you a happy ending either. Wouldn't know how that should come to pass believeably and what would be a second volume for then? Be reassured that all characters from vol.1 will be back in vol.2, although you will find that the mode of their relation to Ayve is in some cases altered.
Good news?! -The lovely Indigo (see above, she has once left a short review here) has kindly agreed to be my beta-reader. She'll iron out as much of the mistakes in the whole first volume as she can find - quite a load of work to do. But since she is a native speaker she's definitely more fit for the job than I am and perhaps she can teach me a few grammar rules I wasn't aware of so far...

when i've read the respond to the reviews, that some people won't like how the volume will be finished, i got really scaared. i don't like sad endings. don't like the too sugary either. but now i am realy afriad that you will just make ayve leave stephen. i would of course read the next volume cause i would be hoping that in the end they will be together :) but i still wouldn't want them to part at all. i love your story. i started reading maybe two days ago and have already gone through all 38 chapters. even though i have exams coming up very soon. i guess i am addicted to your story now. thank you

So, I refused to do this for a while but I know other authors on here who do the same (Ms_Figg, for example) and I'm copying that now: answering to reviews as review.
@Berlin: What procedure are you talking about? His physical examination? Stephen knows about that - see ch37. But I agree with you: Ayve is frustrating. And things won't work like this much longer. I am planning a few things which will possibly lead me to end this volume of the story and start a new one. Big turning-point, so to speak. I guess some people won't like it but it seems inevitable to me.
Thank you for reviewing, I hope you will enjoy future chapters and I will hear from you again! :)
