I agree with the author. Sometimes you can know someone your whole life and they could be the worst person in the world for you. I love the fact that she has found love with Marc. It is the right man for her. Great story and great update. Keep up the fantastic work.

I am soooo beyond conflicted. I mean I really want her to be with marc, but I hate that the whole time she was in love with Chase and then she goes away for like a few weeks and its Marc, if there had been no chase relationship to begin with i would love marc, even if he was there strictly platonic ly. And the whole he kidnpped her thing, it doesnt matter if he saved her life, he still put her in danger. But then again I love your writing so im still debating whether or not I really can read the rest.

Ya for Lila and Marc. By anychance does the new baby mean a future related story showing how to two raise their child?

I'm not sure I can read this anymore, its just too wrong. She's not going back to Chase, you're giving all you're Chase shippers false hope. If she were really apologizing then you would have had her family be happy for here, but they weren't. They're all on Marc's side now too which is just ridiculous because they hated him up until a chapter ago. She's apologizing because she's going to tell him that she can't be with him. I hope its Chase's baby; at least give him that much. If he doesn't get the girl give him the kid. Then again maybe he should just kill himself and make Leila realize how badly she messed up in choosing Marc.

I've just started your story today and I couldn't stop reading. It's so amazing and feels incredibly real and I want to congratulate you for creating such a beautiful story. Next I would like to say CHASE CHASE CHASE CHASE CHASE... looking forward to reading the rest of your story.

i admit i was a leila and chase fan but then i realized chase is the past and marc is the future! :)

I am disgusted. Truly am. Like just . . . ugh. I get the situation, I really do. She's stuck between two guys, but how the hell would any rational person give up seventeen years for two weeks. Especially considering the fact that the two week guy KIDNAPPED her! You people are seriously deranged. Yeah Chase chose Nicole, but to me it was like a deer in the headlights situation. Imagine getting everything you've ever wanted your entire life in one second; you'd be a little shocked too. He made a bad choice, a rash one, but does that mean he deserves to lose everything? If that's really what you think then this is a sad world we're living in when we reach the point that we no longer offer people forgiveness or second chances. I mean, what if it were you?

i really loved this chapter esp the lines of marc which i can't help but include in
this message. That what real love is, it doesn't matter when and how you met,
it doesn't matter who your parents are, what happened before, if your friends for
years or not, love is a feeling no words can describe and loving someone is being
happy when you see them happy. that's what marc is, oh i love him. he's willing
to let go of leila just to make her happy even if it kills him.




“You weren’t a victory fuck baby, not even close. I said all those horrible things because I was trying to protect you. I knew if it ever came down to it you would have chosen Chase over me without so much as a second thought, so I did what was right, I stepped back. I guess on some level I was trying to protect myself as well. I didn’t think I could handle being rejected by you, even though it killed me a thousand times over to watch you cry.”

“We both know you belong with Chase, you will never love me like you love him and I’m okay with that, so long as you’re happy because you deserve that and so much more. You deserve a love as notorious as your parents. And I know you can have that with Chase, as much as I hate him he can make you happy because deep down in your heart its him you carry...not me.” he said violet eyes filling with tears

Leila wordlessly looked at him, “Why didn’t you tell me this before, I would have-”

Marc pressed his finger to her lips silencing her. “No, don’t say it please. You shouldn’t have to settle for second best, and that’s all I am all I’ll ever be. Chase has had your heart from the beginning and he will continue to do so.”
