this is too upsetting. i understand the author has finally decided that Marc will be with Leila, but wouldn't it make this story too much like Money Cant Buy Love how they are best friends and she meets a new guy while still liking her bestfriend? i hope you really believe Marc is the right guy for Leila because i can't really see this story going anywhere anymore. i keep reading the earlier chapters where Leila is so in love with Chase and vice versa and it's too sweet and beautiful to let go of it.

ok im somewhat disappointed that leila didn't end up with chase but we can't choose who we truly love, we just do. i understand Has :) but im sure that marc will make leila happy!

I agree again with "Jessie." I really can't bear to read this story anymore. I understand the falling in love part that you said in your message, but at the same time all those chapters were devoted to Chase and Leila...this whole story being ABOUT Chase and Leila falling in love, getting married, etc. and then you spring Marc on us who comes out of nowhere.
I think for future stories, if you write something like this again, the character of "Marc" should be given just as many chapters as Chase had. You as the author and Leila as the main character may know what kind of guy Marc is, but we, as the audience need to know who he really is as well. Half of us have still have it in our heads that he's the enemy because we don't know anything about his past and parts of his present. We still don't know why he worked with his father in the first place to kidnap her.
I'm also disappointed with how Leila is turning out in this story. After chapter 16, "The Final Battle" is where it all started going downhill for me. I feel like just writing my own ending or something with Chase and Leila getting married and maybe even Chase adopting the baby Leila had with Marc. I don't know...it's just too sad to think about...

You are evil! You always leave it on cliffhangers! But I still love the story and you are doing a wonderful job with it. I check almost every day for an update. Normally I don't like this kind of story but yours has me glued to the computer until I've read all that I can. Please continue with your updates and thank you for the wonderful stories you give us to read.
