I'm glad to see that Sterling got a little bit of his own portion in the chapter since he's one of my favorite characters so far.
Sounds like this chapter set it up for some goodness in the ones to come, I can't wait! ^_^

Holy Crap I remembered my info...after trying and failing and trying more to login with various names lol. Well anyway, I don't think you've lost the edge, I enjoyed reading again and can't wait to see what happens.
I hope at some point you will also continue working on your TB stories. I miss the little world you created for them.

So good!!!!!!!!!!! But I think you need to have a bit more Alasdir(sp?) in the chapters, maybe have a description of his turmoil, personal agony? TeeHee and very delicious self-loathing, made me a little teary. Very good can't wait for more. :)

hey... just stumbled in here. love reading all the original stories. aideen is such a firecracker! oooh i hate alasdair.... i can't stand a guy who doesn't know how to respect when someone tells him no.... but aideen secretly seems to really like him so i hope they get together eventually. after she takes him down a peg that is!

Yay! You updated! I’m doing a little happy dance.
So were back at the dinner now. :D John tells Aideen “Look alive and confident. This group can smell fear.” Somehow I don’t think he needs to tell her that. Aideen has enough balls for the both of them. lol
“’Gentlemen, allow me to introduce my newest partner in crime: the delectable Aideen Kelly.’ Alasdair took Aideen’s hand from its perch on John’s arm, pulling her from the safety of her date’s arm to stand at his side.” LOL Obviously Drake doesn’t like being one-upped by Aideen. I love how he tries to take back control. Yet Aideen isn’t having any of it. She doesn’t like being one-upped either. I find all these games that Drake and Aideen play with each other are really quite hilarious.
Indeed Drake almost seems desperate, pouncing on her out in the garden. He is determined to get Aideen under his control and it isn’t working at all. I got all gushy though when he told her he would have to do something about her manners. (What could he possibly mean?) LOL
I am curious to see how Drake wins her though, because Aideen doesn’t seem very susceptible at all. She has presented him with quite a challenge. It looks like Drake has ditched his date too, how rude! Lol
Excellent writing though. I love this story! I hope you update soon!
