Hello!
Long time and I'm sorry I was lazy reviewing, but exams, summer and well, being mad at aff for giving me so few feedback on my story hold me back from checking on the slash section. Anyway, you updated and I'll review!
Roni's an asshole. Point. He deserves no more comment.
Niko's a sweetheart - he doesn't want to tell Kamil his feeling to not freak him out or scare him off, but he kinda expects Kamil to tell him his feeling. *furrows his eyebrows lightly* I mean, come on!
Kamil should have interrogate Roni much more. I mean, come on. Leaving your wallet at your hotel room? How did he get to Niko's apartment? What did he eat? Waiting till the money his parents have sent arrives? That could take weeks! Shall that bugger go to the ambassy of Finland and get help there. Wait, I said I wouldn't give this bad lot another comment...
The club scene was very... inspiring... *coughs, then removes the sweat from his forehead* Really!
I loved the talk about their country's food. I'm all for different food (as long as it is dead and not too weird) and I don't know anything about Finnish food, but the "fish-cock" sounded nice - I'd try it anytime! And brain! I love to eat brain but after the whole BSE thingy they don't sell any here in Germany, not even from pigs! I mean pigs can't get BSE, right? Can you still get in Poland?
I can understand that Niko's a little wary of brain but really, try it Swedish kid! *grins* I mean if you got real traditional Italian Bolognese in this restaurant you had minced meat together with minced liver, so it's not that far from eating liver to eating brain!
Niko should have refused that cake. I'm sure Kamil would have offered a decent dessert! But then we wouldn't have angst, right? We would have gotten... mroe smut. *blinks* Hey, redo this chap, smut's muuuuuuuch better then angst! *nods vigorously*
Yeah, finally Kamil snapped. It's good, but he should really have broken Roni's nose (I think it's not broken or else the kitchen floor would have been flooded with blood when Niko arrived there from the bathroom). Anyway, I'm most anxious to read what's happening next, I hope Niko finds the courage to really brush off Roni and Kamil admit to himself that he wants Niko.
Oh, and I really tried cucumber with mustard. It was okay and then I remembered gherkin in picalilli with mustard seed (I had to look that up, in German it's simply "Senfgurke" - mustard cucumber). I had some with my dinner this night. I like them. Perhaps Niko wants to try them? He's welcome here... I promise to buy lots of cucumber... *smirks a little*
Anyway, love the story, want to read more, so hurry and write. Yes, I'm demanding. Now write! *winks and laughs*

Wonderful and hot chapter, I had been waiting for that, but what I really need to say is
HAHA I know kalakukko, I am probably one of the ten not-finnish people outside Finland who have eaten kalakukko and this makes me so happy :D
(Sorry, I am not capable of reviewing in any other more coherent way right now. It's really late.)

Chapter 7 "The Visitor"
K,
Love the innocence I feel from your characters.
They're sweet and the beginnings of relationships
are so fragile, but these two are great with each other!!
I like the meddling and sexy Roni too, even though he's so egotistical!!
Thanks for another chapter!!!

Hello Kolgrim!
Cucumber with honey? *shudders* I mean cucumber with mustard sounds weird but more tasty than with honey. Well, I'll raid my fridgem perhaps I have some cucumber and then I'll try it with mustard (Which I always have in storage!)...
On to the story. Roni has a sunny nature, hmm? Ditch and dump Niko the way he did and then come back and go all like "Hey, forgive me. You know, you still love me..." I'm sure he never had problems with self consciousness. Though he definitely is a little too full of himself. Hope Niko can get things straight with him. Though Niko and straight... *grins*
Kamil sure knows how keep his temper - though a little more show of emotion wouldn't have hurt. But that's the way he is, I guess...
And you gave me a good excuse to read slash stories (beside the pure joy of it): I can learn other languages. If I ever have to tell an ex that my current lover is way better in bed and better equipped, too, then I'm now able to do so in Suomi. *laughs* Anyway, I like how your language looks like, the many "ä" and double letters makes it look unique. Well, only the few online dictionaries for Suomi I found made two things obvious: They suck and I suck at Suomi grammar... ;D
Well, let's see how the fight over Niko will continue, though I hope Niko himself puts an end to it soon!

p.s.: Did I mention that I really like the story and that chapter? :-)

Wow, first the ever-present Matt (groans) and now RONI!!! This is going to get preeeeetty interesting soon, I see! Nice chapter, had me going with some of the humor there. Yeesh, maybe one of these chapters can explain Niko's irrational love for ketchup, hahaha.
These insatiable foreign gay horny boys. Wonder what'll happen to 'em, eh?

Delightful characters and story!
Love all the small moments they have conversing
about food and its preparation and how things are
from where they come from.
Thank you,
R

I ate an entire cucumber while reading this chapter.
You've really nailed the sound of a foreigner speaking English. My school is full of exchange students, and it keeps amusing me how I can just HEAR the inflection, reading your characters. Lovely job.
