Hello! Your story captured my interested as I thought it would be humurous to see what a vampire without fangs would do to survive. LOL So far so good I think. Though as you said there are a few "forgotten" words and stuff.
One thing that did stick out was Cade's description. You really don't have much of one, so it leaves me wondering what he looks like. You also may want to work on developing the world around him, simply to get a better feel of his circumstances and the environment he lives in.
I hope this didn't sound too harsh, I do mean it with the best intentions.
