Oh? Is this a possible Mr. Right? XD I'm very intrigued! Kinda short, and kind of a cliff hanger..though in my world everything is a cliff hanger! XD Hope you update soon!

You definitely have me wondering about Michael? Is he going to be a happy turn to the story, just a passing character, or something that'll turn into another bad thing for the carriers (like James)? Or maybe he'll be someone Jesse likes but is deemed unworthy. I'm hoping he'll be a happy turn to the story. I think we need one after Ortega.

I just had a thought. Will the carriers have baby girls or will they all be boys, carriers or not? And if they do have girls, will the girls be sterile? And if they have boy-carriers, will they be enrolled in this carrier program from very young? Or will they just be allowed relatively normal lives?

I'm liking James a little better, feeling very bad for Tega, pissed at Sloane, and really hoping that Jesse, who is a real fighter, pulls through okay.

OH OH GOD. This story is so bleak and painful, but I really love it.

What in the world happened there? Sloan is a retard who should be killed or something. I can understand that he is as much a pawn as the others, but at least he has some authority. The same thing happens to him that happened to the others, why does he not sympathize or protect the others? This world is too depressing.

my poor baby tega and jesse how i fell for this boys. i know you said happy endings but can we please get a least a glimpse of hope or at least justice.

it just gets worse and worse.... and whats twisted about that is i just keep liking it more and more

I hope Sloan rots. I'm really feeling for Ortega. Sloan set him up, he's stuck with the guy who raped him and who will regularly be raping him, maybe with the assistance of druggings (stupid Sloan, again), and then Sloan brings him back and expects him to gush about getting married and being pregnant. Yeah, that's not something he'd be excited about, Jackass.

And Jesse, I can understand why he'd be rebelling so hard. Especially after what happened with Ortega and the reveal that Sloan could and would fuck them all over. I wonder what those who've been going at the whole thing like it's a high school popularity contest think about the situation with Sloan and the implications it has for they themselves. Might make them even more eager to work it, I think. The quicker we find ourselves a partner, the less chances of us ending up in that situation.

The thing that annoys me about James is that, if he had connections in the first place, so he could manage to twist the system so he'd end up with Ortega, why didn't he just take it slow and patiently in the first place. Ortega was liking him, there was no need to start things on such a bad note. I just see Ortega being one of those people who ends up either completely subjugated and timid or becomes so bitter and hateful that people try to avoid them at all costs. And it's sad because he seemed like a sweet guy, either alternative would suck. I still find myself hoping there'd be a way out of it, maybe James' step on a mine :)
