I just spent HOURS reading this entire damn thing in one go and it is now 1:15am!! And I LOVED it!! You MUST update!! This is the most fascinating portrail of this concept I've seen to date!! And I may just have to borrow it for a fan fiction if you don't mind! *^^* I've been wanting to do some Muscician crossovers and this verse is very promising to have them apear in. Chester from LP as a carrier... Muahahahahaha!^-^ Or Zachy from A7X... that could actually be kinda spooky. 0.o So could Franky from MCR for that matter or Mikey.... eh... new subject!
If I didn't think Punki would throw a fit over how badly most of the carriers are being treated I'd have him read it too, but I'd rather not have to listen to my boyfriend rant about suffrage and the like for days, possibly weeks, on end. Though I gotta say while it is sad and I think Micheal's my second favorite character after Jesse(though Tiger is deffinately warming his way into my heart) all of the other relationship dynamics are intruiging to say the least! And Mike's dad just simply being gay was brilliant!! ^^ So yeah, update soon!

PS.-ness Umm... yeah.. I just reread my review and I sound like a bit like a chauvinistic bastard... I think the lack of sleep is getting to me.. but eh... I want everyone to know that I do think the mistreatment of the carriers is horrible, and my enthusiastic review before was 1> my sleep deprived brain 2> my sparked interest in possibly using a similar verse. I can't stick to an original piece to save my life however I can write fan fiction liek a fiend! My enthusiasm for such a depressing universe stems from my overal dismal life of late and I've been looking for somehting to purge the bad vibes with. I think I may have found it!! *^^* If you don't mind me borrowing and tweeking your verse tha is!! ^-^

Damn, Jesse is one hell of a stubborn bastard! But I can totally feel him... the poor guy.
Michael's father and "mother" are hilarious, btw. ^_^ Also loved the funny Clint/Sloane scene.
My favorite character right now has to be Tiger. He is so unperturbed and cheeky, like he has nothing to fear. Please don't let something bad happen to the boy!

I really look forward to how Yavisk and Michael will react. Michael's choice of punishment was really surprising and funny. I understand Michael's argument but I also understand how Jesse thinks he might just be using it as an excuse to control him. That's a scary position he's in. And Tiger and Miljans' interactions are realllly interesting; Miljan makes him say "I love you" and threatens to beat him so calmly, while Tiger is still pretty cheeky, I wonder how their relationship is going to advance.

The wretched thing cut me off!! I'll repost, and am sorry for the repeat of the first two paragraphs.
Damn.....just damn. Don't know where to start, I think I'll touch on those who were covered in single movements.
Joey and the Admiral: I think Michael just about covered it. I was knocked a bit off my stride, no fooling, but that filled me with such a sense of peace. To know that two people would want to be together to that degree, and in a lot of ways cheat a system. I'm happy for them, to know that they so sincerely wish to be with each other.....Don't ask, don't tell, indeed. ::snort::
Clint and Sloane: O____O(That's Me). It was an exciting moment, to see a sexual situation focused SOLELY on a carrier's pleasure(referencing of course, Michael and Jesse's somewhat dubious time). Don't get me wrong, I don't like Clint, but after seeing his recent movements I don't think he's evil. An idiot, who doesn't think for himself, is chauvinistic, irrational, and capable of horrible cruelty(Ortega), but not evil, not like Yavisk. Sloane and he are so fascinating. Sloane's comment to Jesse while he's leaving was totally a cheap shot.
Havar: I hurt for him, and I'm just waiting for him to start pitching himself down stairs and doing heavy lifting. It could only help him at this point.
Miljan and Tiger: I love Tiger, he and Jesse are my cuddle buddies. He's defiant, but aloof and won't let the situation choke him; his continuous use of compromise is brilliant. He's in a hostile environment and must bide his time and remain mobile if he wants to escape it. Give them no quarter, but do not unnecessarily insight wrath. Miljan terrifies me, he shows a cunning and assurance that unnerves me……."I learns well" sassy bastard, he's so irreverent! It's brilliant, but so important to show he's not cowed and quaking in his boots while still toeing the line of acceptable, because technically, he hasn't done anything wrong.
Michael: I was wrong, and I'm willing to own up to that. He does care, he is kind, and he hates the system. I'm still disappointed about the whipping, but he had an image to fulfill, so I know why even if it upsets me. The choice of punishment for Jesse was actually quite wily of him and I approve of his ingenuity, if not the act, cause I feel for Jesse and personally abhor wearing skirts.
Jesse: The concession of booze to a beating was so like him, resolute and humorous even at the eleventh. In a position of such his and the carriers, relenting even a little bit can be so costly. He's stubborn, but I understand and respect him for it. I'd probably choose similarly; he can't play that part, further he refuses to. It's beyond something he isn't; it's something he doesn't WANT to be. I no longer think Michael's more of the same and trying to manipulate and control him like the others, and I don't think Jesse thinks that either, but I believe that Jesse remains adamant to be who he is. So, he understands what Michael asks of him; knows he's sincere and earnest; even sees the reasons behind it, much as he loathes them; but is firm in his decision. He won't do it. In a lot of ways, he can't.

Wearing a natori and cologne and shaving his legs poor Jesse- Michael was soo smart in punishment then bang opens his mouth and destroys everything- a liability and now thats all Jesse is going to think but maybe just maybe he will start thinking of a them taking on the system instead of just fighting it himself

When I saw that you had update, my stomach felt queasy, and I kept losing my breath. But it wasn't bad at all. Now things are certainly getting more interesting. Joes is not a carrier? He loves Eric that much that he will give up freedom? That is love. I like how Tiger is so rebellious. Poor poor poor Havar. He is pregnant. I am sort of hoping, he loses the baby and dies, or something. Even if Michael can make it better, Havar can't be helped. Things are going to work out between Michael and Jesse, I have no doubt about that.
