I thought the scene where Gustin takes Kellan's hand was very romantic though, and I wonder what's going to happen now, and if the caravan ever finds out or already found out that Gustin is with Kellan. Hope to see more soon!

I can't wait to see what happens! I'm really not sure whether Kellan is supposed to be with Gustin or whether Gustin is supposed to go through with the transfer, but now that Gustin knows Kellan's intentions, I think he might act. He's a cunning guy and beforehand he said that the storm wouldn't stop him if he really did want to leave, so perhaps he'll act on that ^_^ And I'm really curious now about Kellan's past and how he was exiled, looking forward to having Gustin dig it out of him or something XD Gustin is a great character and a smart smart boy. (Now that I think about it, smart as in intelligent and also smart as in smartass haha.)If he does go through with the transfer, I wonder what's going to happen as well (heh if you read my jeremiad for Rift...I hope that he causes some turmoil and kicks those wolfes into shape!) if he actually gets to the wolfe compound. He might escape during the transfer too, maybe. Also, if Kellan ends up at the same compound as him, I wonder what's going to happen, and whether they're going to meet Ideste and all.

I think that Gustin should finally get a mate!

Hey, I was wondering when the warnings were going to come into play. I check on these updates way too much and while clicking around I noticed that the warnings for the three stories are pretty similar, except that Rind had "Spank". And here's the chapter with it, hahaha.

Anyway on the whole I really like Gustin's gutsiness and random horniness. And also I think he does know about the breeding program and stuff, according to his lack of curiousity in this chapter when Kellan tells him he'd be "dead in your first pregnancy". I really liked the swearing too in that different language. It was pretty humourous and I like the sound of "mec'thal!!", whatever that means. ("Shit"!!! or something, probably, huh?)And I also think Gustin is going to run away eventually! He's a smart human and I think he already doesn't accept being a ransom.

Then there's Kellan!! I wonder so much about the plot. Is Kellan going to be his mate? No ransom? Yes ransom? Is Gustin going to get away from the Wolfes in general? It goes on and on and on!

but anyway! For updates I really do check everyday. However, the past two weeks I've gone on two four-day vacations. When I come back I always think, I hope there's an update during the period of my lack of access to the Internet, and so far, there has been! But of course my greatest hope is that the chapters come out inbetween my OCD checking every few hours. Hope the next update is soon! Thanks for this chapter!

Ooooh. Major plot in this chapter! I was really happy to read about what made Gustin different and also what Kellan's 'big plan' for him was. And now I wonder whom Gustin is actually meant to mate with now; Kellan with his heat coming on soon, the Alpha of that pack, or even Adotre (also, from reading this chapter, I assume Layers are pretty much like Wolfes, in terms of shape-shifting and all? I have to go read that one chapter with the notes). Also, I think Gustin's character is very interesting too. He's very smart and also a little wild, I think, with this untameable quality in him (the scene where he wants to use/mate/have Adotre). Even if he was given over to that Wolfe pack I think that maybe he wouldn't be left with a domestic position or as just a "breeder" because he knows so much. I doubt he'd be happy with that too, considering how he is angered by the month of idling he's spent with Kellan. And that leads me to whether, as a runner, Gustin will be able to run away for Kellan and life in the compound! And also I wonder whether or not Gustin knows about the breeding program and all, what with his comment in this chapter ("Tell me there's another meaning to that word.") and also his entertaining the idea of taking Kellan to bed and not mentioning the Change.
