I almost missed your story because I found Drako to be an inappropriate name for a powerful vampyr. And although I like your story, especially the last paragraph of this chap, my aversion for the name remained after reading it. I sought a reasonable explanation and found one: There is the Ancient Greek word “drakein”, which means something like “to have seen clearly”. Well, Drako most certainly sees clearly where others don’t. Now that I solved the name problem for me I’d love to read your next chapter.
