Man, it's rare that I like an original story as much as I like this one.
Your characters amazing, and not at all stereotyped. The storyline, while at first seemed strange to me, is very original and really pulls you in.
As I'm sure everyone already says, update asap ;)

Yakkin, huh? Rather nice custom of allowing the consorts to meet Max and welcome him into their family, and booze it up together. Interesting choice of gifts too, especially the picture books. I especially enjoyed poor Kasan missing his sweet mate and showing a little tenderness toward his lil Gisho. Hopefully more information will be found on the rest of Max's people too. It's nice to see Max starting to consider a relationship with Kasan. I look forward to your next installment. And as always please continue.

I admit to a certain confusion with the continuity of the chapter, how it skipped from POV and also time in the same go, but it worked really well I think; it's a unique style and it keeps the piece interesting throughout. I haven't got bored once reading this story and I love the characters. You should deffinately aim to be a published writer, you could make it big, honestly.

I stayed up late and was happy to have caught this update; I hope Max learns more of their language soon b/c I'm curious about what some of the cats say; also wondering why everyone thinks pure humans are extinct and yet Max remembers Earth; looking forward to more!
