I've just read chapter 8, and it had me laughing so hard. I don't remember reading anything for a long while that made me laugh that much ;D

Thank you, thank you, thank you for updating this WONDERFUL story. I have been looking foward for so long. Poor Max, he's so sweet. And I'm really glad that he's learning to communicate. It was very frustrating to have to see him always in an emotional turmoil. I really want him to love Kasan, and I was equally happy to see that Leero is becoming attracted to Kyoru because Kasan had thought him to be lonely. Anyway, I'm looking forward to finding out what happens when Kasan realizes that Max has become close to a shokan. LOL. Thanks for updating, and I'm also looking forward to all the other updates coming soon. I follow all of your stories. Keep up the great work!

There is a lot in this chapter ! And I can't wait for more explanation...

Interesting chapter - did have quite a different feel from the other chapters but it was still very good (get well soon by the way!), I guess there seemed to be less interaction between the characters than usual, even when they spoke to each other they seemed stuck in their own worlds so to speak. . . i really love this story though and the history of their race was rather enlightening :) It was great to get to know more about their world and how they became what they are. Look forward to more as always :)

Ok now woah . . . is this a planet of the apes type thing going on here? If so, too cool! If not I've been watching too many scifi shows lol. Just how long was Max in the tube? I was wondering before how it could be that other humans had been there before. Just what is Max's dog? Obviously not a pet and not something that Kasan would be happy to know was in his room with Max, & did the wonder dog just take care of the evil cat the might have been after Max & Kasan? And if so does that mean he isn't as bad as Zonta acted like it was? This story just keeps getting better & better Twisted, can't wait for the next installment!

(ch 18) You totally made my weekend! I was soooo happy to come home from work and find an update. I just love Max's point of view. I think I'd be panicky like that too. Oh, and this is my most favorite line ever: "He was absolutely positive that he had a religiously monogamous ass." OMG, I laughed out loud! The history of the plague was sad. And, um, Androcles is a shokan? I inferred from earlier references in the story that they were kinda scary, kinda dangerous creatures. Uh-oh, I think that maybe Kasan won't be too happy about Max's new pet. And, uh, was that Androcles at the end attacking some one? And why was that person sneaking around? It'll be interesting to see if you pair Leero with Kyoru. You've hinted before that consorts tend to be younger than the mates, so I wonder how that will work out. So many new questions. I guess I'll have to wait for your next chapter! *sobs* How will I survive until then? Anyway, thanks so much for the update. I always enjoy reading your story!
