My friend sent me a link to your story, and I have to tell you that it's the best I've read on this site so far. I actually managed to finish it in a day, which is a first for me. The characters are wonderful, the plot is entertaining, intriguing, and flows nicely, and the slash itself is well-written. I also have to compliment you on your spelling and grammar. I can't tell you how badly it irritates me to see a story so riddled with those types of errors that you can't even follow the plot. Anyway, I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

Hmm... I've figured a few things out. So, the shokan that they mention in passing when they talk from time to time are huge dogs. Which makes sense since dogs and cats hate each other and vice versa. Let's see:

1. It was strange when the dog disappeared whenever Kasan was around. Considering the fact that Zonta said that shokans were dangerous and killed the cats all the time, it is highly unlikely that Kasan would keep one. However, there were no mentions of shokans killing humans - therefore, they might be friendly to humans, considering that Androcles licks Max. However, it seems to be somewhat sentient, understanding what Max is saying so it might be a trap of some sorts. But, we need to bear in mind that it only attacked the Tosa when Max showed he was afraid of it.

2. The Tosa mentioned are Max's pink blobs of doom. Apparently herbivorous and harmless, lol. I guess Kasan wouldn't leave it in the garden if it was otherwise. Plus, Androcles attacked one just the same way, flipping it over and eating a certain organ inside of it.

3. Not sure about this, but the shokan, Androcles may be protecting Max for some reason I cannot comprehend. The plot earlier with Shoru's mate trying to kill Kasan seems to have been foiled in the part where the creature killed the cat with a weapon on his back. Now, why would the shokan protect Max, I wonder? This is interesting. Of course, we haven't found out anything yet about how the shokans react to humans... they may be genial to them because I believe the humans saved their race as well.

Ah, I forgot to ask, but concerning Joinings... Well, there is a great discrepancy between the human lifespan and that of the cat-people (Kashin? I can't remember the word). The cat people seem to live very long lives, spanning into the hundreds. Will Joining with Kasan make Max live longer or will he age at the same age normal people do and leave poor Kasan devastated?

Also, I'm somewhat curious about the video that Zonta showed Max... if that many people were left behind as mates, doesn't this mean that either the cat people were smaller or humans were larger at some time? Did Max go to sleep for a looong time in cryo and lots of things happened or maybe the humans are from a different planet? The second theory is somewhat unlikely since even the names and language used are the same, English, Korean etc... *is still pondering*

So....reading this story for the...sixth time, I think. I just ROFLED at this forEVER. Again.

I tried to leave AFF, I really did! I wanted to have more time to get my grades where they need to be for med school, but but....well, there are two kinds of stories here: ones that you can give up without much of a second thought, and those that even THINKING of leaving them makes you want to cry. This story is, obviously, the latter. Every time I try to leave this story drags me back. I CAN'T STAY AWAY! Ugh, I'm so completely addicted. I need to sign up for AFF-Anonymous or something.
