Another great chapter. It's good to see Max using the skills that he has. It's really funny that the Shokan think that Max is a puppy. I wonder how he'll escape their clutches. I look forward to reading the next chapter and thank you for all your hard work!

I loooooooooove this series. This is to writing, as the Mona Lisa is to painting. The characters are great and I'm on the edge of my seat to see what happens next. Thank you for redeeming my faith in the storytelling art.

Okay, so this chapter was ADORABLE. HE HAS BEEN ADOPTED BY WILD SHOUKANNNNN <3
(I hope that he finds a way to get back to Kasan! I love that shoukan take to him, though. Is it something about his general smell, or is it that they found him in a nest-area, and so he smelled like a puppy because he'd been in a nest-area?)

Poor Max, though, thwarted by well-meaning adoptive shoukan. (at least there aren't thorns involved with being shoukan-groomed).
I really hope that whatever happens, he can keep his seeming affinity for shoukan. Yes, he's an honorary cat -- but the idea of having a 'family' of elephant-sized dogs to protect from the other giant-sized-everything of the world seems like a good one.

I love it. I knew Max was never going to be a threat to the dog things, sorry can't remember how to spell the speicies, but for them to think of him as a puppy is just too great. This does make it rather hard for him to help Kaasan though. Wonder how this is going to work. I look forward to see the out come of this situation. I love a story that is hard to predict.
