I am really enjoying this story - I like the way you portray two totally different views of the events going on; even Kasan acknowledges that poor Max can't have the slightest idea what's going on. I hope Max will soon realize Kasan was not actually giving him away!

This just keeps getting better and better. The bits with the morning, and the food, and the chasing... Love it! The climbing was pretty awesome too. I've got a lot of questions but I don't want to bore you with them. I'm sure they'll be answered in time. It's a pity that your last chapter was short, but I realise that other people aside from me actually have lives. Anyway I look forward to whatever you do next, as always. If you're ever in Siberia (MinerMiner.org) I was thinking of a particular scene in Baseballs & Bottoms when I was writing one of Kagome's little fantasy sequences in The Girl and The General. Yes, this is a cheap attempt to get you to read it. I'm afraid my morals have become terribly lax of late... I probably already said it, but I look forward to your next update.

Chapter 9
Whatever do you mean by 'what the little one does'? Is he supposed to go through some test during the Firstmeal? Evil cliff! Excellent:)
I get some nice imagery of surroundings from Max's POV and descriptions. An 'opium den', a 'slave auction' hehe. Those alien cats must be very laid back, I like them a lot. Hope someone would do some fanart on this fic.
At least Kasan had him looked at by a doctor. About time to start taking care of his consort. I mean, he DID forget to feed him before! Tsk, tsk... Is Kasan even used to take care of persons, did he ever own a pet, I wonder?
I do like Leero. Is he single? A-haha, just kidding:)
