A new chapter?!?!
That's faaaaaaaannnntastic.
First, my review of this new chapter. All I really have to say is: In my mind, Christy has officially transitioned from spoiled and mildly annoying into pure awesome. She was about ready to kill The Wiz? I don't condone murder, but deep down inside I was morbidly hoping that she WOULD take him out, especially after hearing The Wiz say it was all her fault and that it's not easy for a guy to just turn it off. I can't say much more than that, because your awesomeness is beyond words
Second, I'm the ultimate reviewer? I wouldn't go that far, but you praising my praise of your storytelling sure brings a warm fuzzy feeling to my face. Yeah, I'm loyal. Sometimes I'm loyal to a fault, but not in this case. You DO deserve all the praise you get from me and from everyone else who enjoys your stories. As far as not giving you too much crap for a lack of posting... Well, I will admit it is intensely frustrating enduring long waits in between new chapters, but I understand that you're only human. You're not a professional author who has deadlines to meet when it comes to spewing out fresh material. I'm not going to give you any grief for not updating once a week, once a month, or however long it takes you.
Keep up the good work, update whenever YOU want to, and we'll all be waiting with open arms.

It was a long wait but worth it, I love this story. I'm so glad that The Wiz is gone and everything is sort of out in the open... Please update again soon!!

Oh no! I didn't realise there had been another update. I'm such a dumbass! Anyway, that was another great chapter - I love that Ghandi quote. I think I had it in a list of quotes for my lists blog not long ago. I hope you update soon :D

OHMYGOD YOU'RE BACK!!!
So I'm not really reviewing the update(s) you've added to this story just yet, since I haven't read any of the new stuff. To be honest, I haven't been reading on AFF that much lately. But I do periodically check to see if my any of my favorite authors (*ahem* YOU) have updated any of their stories. It was a little sad when you didn't update for so long, but I was thrilled to see that you've come back.
To be perfectly honest, I forgot what happened in this story since I hadn't read it in so long. That's why I haven't gotten to the new chapter(s) yet, because I'd have no clue what's going on. Now I'm slowly but surely re-reading this story so I can get back up to date. I just wanted to let you know how happy I am that you're back and that you're still writing. You're one of my favorite (if not THE favorite) authors on AFF, and I know it's a better place with you contributing.

Okay, so rather than go to sleep like a normal person, I stayed up until 3:30 in the morning getting all caught up on this story.
Well, I'm also a raging insomniac... But whatever... Let me just officially state for the record that you, Tirch, are the absolute MASTER of drama and storytelling. The characterization is perfect. The plot lines are engaging. The twists are jaw-dropping. The dialogue is natural. Stories like this (and Original Sin... and You Don't Know Me) are a treasure for us readers.
I absolutely love this story, but what really makes it are the characters. Annabelle and Quinn are the perfect couple on an inevitable road to heartbreak (say it ain't so!!). Christy is the vulnerable victim with the facade of perfection. Josh is the jock who breaks the mold by using his head and his heart. The Wiz is the villain that inspires hatred. Forest is just that lovable goofball. And Katy... Well, let's just say she's my new hero.
Early on you had worried about being too formulaic. Well is this stuff is formulaic, that I declare myself in love with formulas and all their predictability. Don't worry about formulas or cheese or too much of this or too little of that. Just continue doing what you've been doing and the quality will shine through as it always does.
Baaahhhhh I'm gushing because I'm tired and I'm not thinking straight anymore. Update soon please!

Chapter 17 has the cutest title. Quinn and Josh on the same team is quite a sight I would think. I think both of the boys have very good self control and was very mature in the matter. I don't like violence either but thank goodness for Katy's fist. What can I say my hypocrisy works in this situation:) A lot went on in this chapter and I don't want Annabelle to leave Quinn sooner. I think Annabelle feels obligated to go back to Mexico with her mother. I want her to stay in the states, be selfish for once, continue to be a teenager and enjoy life. She'll have time to save the world. Man, I never thought I would be able to understand Josh like I do now. The last sentence of this chapter gives me a bad feeling. I hope nothing has happened to Christy. Thanks for updating.

OH NOES!!
Katy should have beat the Wiz unconscious! Now he's at Christy's house? What's Josh going to walk into?! The Wiz beating up on Christy because he thinks she told everyone what happened? Or Christy standing over the Wiz's dead body? o.O I'm excited to find out!
I'm a little less excited about Julia's arrival - although, I must admit to being interested in meeting her character, since we've only heard about her. But I'm afraid that she'll need to go back to Mexico and Annabelle is obviously set on going with her...and then it will be all heart-achey and tearful. *sighs* I'm hoping for a happy ending, though :)

Hey, I know this is a pretty weird comment to leave, but you have your email address as private, so... here goes. Are you actually from the DC metro area? Because I go to school here now, but I really want to try and get into the local DC music scene. It's just that, no one that goes to AU really knows much about good music, and I have no idea what neighborhoods to go to to even try to find live shows. Most of the clubs play bigger artists. If you're not from the DC area, nevermind and sorry, haha. I just thought you might be since you write about that area so often. My email is mcmacminn@comcast.net. If it weirds you out to respond, don't worry about it, but I am just a 20 year old girl college student, so I promise that I'm not trying to find you and rape you or anything awful. Anyway, I haven't actually started to read this story yet, because I'm rereading all your old ones that I loved, but I'm sure this one is great too. Thanks for any help...
