A traumatic day? You have an evil strike - in a good way.

When I first read the line about Lanseng dieing, when losing his shield, I feard Marcus would go against his shield. You got me into an emotional turmoil with this chapter. The seer has a tragic aura and I hope he will be fine because I fear he will dutifully serve, never complain but suffer a certain kind of heartache.

I'm so glad, Azrael is music. I thought Sex would have a musicial talent - maybe he has too. I would appreciate it - he could share and heal together with Claudius. Music has this power and it reaches into the darkest darkness - dragging you back to the light, like a magnet. It's the most erotical thing, to have a lover play for you from the deephts of the heart. It reveals everything a person can be. Well, that's a personal opinion but since you brought music into 'Cake', you made me even happier reading on (if that was possible).

Your question about Marcus - He makes it a nasty habit to run from Azrael, always hurting him and he still seems to go after X. He does everything for forgiveness from X but he never considered seeking forgiveness from Azrael. The two of them have only one day a week and he keeps running and running and hurting. Azrael must very much feel like Sex in Cake, when he was sitting in the dark all alone and felt unwanted. Marcus is somehow self-centered and I sometimes want to slap him and scream 'You could at least try to overcome it!' He cultivates his weaknesses and uses them as excuse. (He reminds me of persons with an eating disorder.)
I would like him to change - not to fast, maybe not even in this book (possibly in the next, you could name it 'Candy' - you see, I would do anything to keep you writing, unfortunately I'm dead broke due to tuition fees and can't pay you - which you definetly deserved!) but Marcus has to try - with all ups and downs - if he wants to deserve being Azrael's mate.

I'm sorry for keeping you for so long and I still have to say something - THANK YOU! The story is lovely and keeping me on my toes.

Soo...Marcus left because he was crumbling under the pressure of love. That seems kind of weird and weak. Marcus annoys me a little. He just a big punk compared to the others. But CARNAGE is hot. Az is going to be punished tommorrow. Oh boy. Tramatic day??? What is going to happen? the Lycans find out about the pups and Ping and get her or Claudia loses her twins or just more drama? cant wait for the next chappie.

"There are drawbacks to fucking a Seer." lol! That was a good end to the chapter. It made me chuckle, even though the next chapter seems to be a depressing one.

I find myself loving Lanseng a heck of a lot. When he first appeared, I was like.. "Oh no. Oh lord no. ANOTHER ONE?!" (As in, another one after the brothers)

Poor Azrael. Even if he's trying so hard for Marcus.. he wounds up getting hurt. That must suck. Doing what your love wants.. only to realize he's hurting from it.

Okay, I guess I don't hate Marcus. I'm sorry to say I don't like him, and wouldn't mind if he was gone.

.. PS: I think Azrael, Lanseng, and Marcus should 'rut' together. Except, let's call it lovemaking. Ooh. Imagine this: Lanseng on the bottom, Marcus in the middle, and Azrael on top. Cinnamon + Apple + Blueberry. Yumm...

Oh, and in answer to your question..

Why do we hate Marcus so much?

Well, he had Azrael who loved him desperately.. but he still went after Xavier. That pissed me off like no other. Plus, he raped poor X (not only once either!).. and going psycho didn't impress me either.

I understand that he's 'broken' and such, but I seriously think he ought to try harder, and see just how precious and fragile Azrael is. He may be the Angel of Death, but Az (haha.. I called him Az and there's nothing he can do about it..) is actually quite delicate. So I think Marcus ought to try harder. In fact, he doesn't even seem to be trying. All he sees is his own selfish desires.

But well, I guess I understand that Marcus isn't as bad as I think of him to be. I hope he smartens up though.

interesting chapter.i liked it but i'm confused what exactly is Lanseng? is he a vampire? the ending to this chapter was slightly ominous, i can't wait to read the next chapter to find out what's going. thanks for the speedy updates ^___^ that's part of the reason this story is sooo good ;)

lol, i love the ending. I was reading it making sure i got everything out of it i didn't miss anything really intense to just get to the end and burst out into laughter. i thought it was great and i don't think he should take marus back straight away i think he should show he can bee replace if need be so he better not run again because if he does someone will have taken him place.

Well, at least Marcus didn't go over the edge^_^;;
