Today is another 'I don't like Liam'-day. He has 'a feeling that Claudius ran off half cocked and left his wife vulnerable.'??? What kind of bullshit is that? Liam with all his experience (especially the shared one) should know better than to spread rumors about events, he didn't witness. Katrina was X-times older and surely sent Claudius off, if he even ran; but after Alarik's statement about breaking Claudius' shield, I doubt that.

When Claudius dies, will Liam take on the role of a caretaker for the brothers? I mean, like a sire and not a PA, busy with screwing another PA and witholding information until they are out in the open (o.k. I hand it to him, that he stepped in before something happened, when Endellion showed up)? What is the usual way of the Council when a sire falls out and the fledgling is basically a baby? They are surely not sent to a coven with all it's queer-breeds.

Thank you for fixing my problem with Lanseng beforehand! Maybe you could answer my question about Endellion and 'death souls' too. Can she suck a soul from vampires like Alarik?

Oh god, I so fear for the brothers and Claudius. Our beloved adored 'black death' dead, that can only be right for a short period of time. Bring him back soon! Even though, you are going to kill Claudius, I love your story! More please!

Chapter 40 "Practice"

I sense the climax is coming on and
its making me nervous. The menacing Alarik
makes his latest spooky appearance and I can
only hope that Hades is around the next time
to at least threaten him and protect the others.

Hades and Liam, get your asses to the brothers and Claudius!!! They should not longer be allowed to move one inch without proper guards.

Will San Kyu recover? Will Lanseng be allowed to stay with the brothers after Claudius' death? I have a feeling they don't want to hear excuses like, 'it was neccessary'. Waiting for Claudius death is unbearable. I hope Claudia will not get medical problems after the shock.

Why do I get the impression you reunite the brothers?

I hate Alarik! You must absolutely kill him! Killing Claudius is unforgivable.

C without Claudius (for a while) is unimaginable. Even though, go on!

I hate Alarik. I wish him to die a very very very painful excrutiating slow tortuous death. And this time he was alone too... Hadn't Claudius mentioned that he was always with buddies? Hmmmm interesting development, could it be that Alarik too has gotten stronger? And how can a shield made of blood and bone be in a sense, weaker than that of mirrors?
Can't wait for the next chapter, I was disappointed to reach the end without a 'Next Chapter' link to click on :P

A discussion followed by a love scene... awwww!!! Words cannot describe how the end of the chapter made me feel. Can't wait for Claudia to come back and for the wedding to take place. Will Shade be there? I hope so :)
