Ode: Traditionally, an ode is a long, lyric poem, serious in subject, elevated in style, and elaborate in its stanzaic structure. “Ode” is a term with Greek roots, meaning “to sing,” or “to chant,” often intensely, emotionally, or exaltedly. Lyric poetry is usually taken to be: Personal or individualistic, Emotional, Musical, Organized, and Compressed.

That was what I was taught and ode was in creative writing class. Your poems are the perfect examples of odes. Good poem.
