I don't think it sucks. I like it really. It took me a few times to read it before it clicked but once it did....to me it told of someone who is head over heels for another but feels their attraction could never work for one reason or another so they look on from afar. But soon they learn to say 'screw what people think' and pursue their love. Sounded like a good poem to me.
