Wow, this is quite the start. I almost didn't read it but so far I'm glad I did. I'm not quite sure what it is, but there's something clever about your writing style. I'm sure you make an excellent story teller, and it appears we'll soon find out.

Very intriguing beginning. I like it already! Hee hee, I have to admit I've never read a story about a strange pet shop. But I look forward to reading more of this one! Your writing style was charming, and I noticed no mistakes. Lovely!
