Ah, sitting back with a cool drink and a good story. Every time I read one of your chapters I'm always so surprised when I get to the ending. My mind is transported to a new place full of story and suddenly I'm reading the dreaded AFF disclaimer at the bottom. This chapter grows my fondness for the characters like a chia pet. I would love to hear more about them, more and more and more! Drake interests me, he seems dominate and protective, I loved the argument between him and Adrian. Alex seems like a very...fragile person, but very stubborn and very much a fighter. I love the way each chapter has a simple plot but the story as a whole is more complex. All I can say is that I look forward to my next brand new chapter, served up soon I hope!

I can honestly say this is the best thing to happen to me for awhile. From the first paragraph I was hooked, beyond hooked. I've been wading through trash for so long I'd given up hope of finding something good. If I could find the words powerful enough to describe this I would, but I don't think I can. The first chapter was just wow. I guess I could describe it as insightful, but it's more than that. There weren't any fancy turns of phrase, any "abortion of the soul" kind of thing, but it was deep. Well deep in a shallow way, a way everyone could understand it. It said some very cool things in a way that didn't scare the literary impaired. The characters? Good so far, but I haven't seen enough of them to pass judgment. Your writing style is like balm after reading things like "the fuzzy kitty was predominately anxious about his impending boo boo" and the like. It's to the point without being abrupt, weaving thought, action, and description flawlessly. I sound like a thirteen year old girl meeting her rock star idol, don't I? This story just drugs me up and gives me hope. I eagerly await the next chapter and that isn't just a polite ending to this review, it's the truth.

NOOOOOOOOOO! DON'T STOP! DON'T STOP! DON'T STOP! *takes a deep breath* Okay there my panic attack stopped. Now for the slightly more sane part of the review. This is a fantastic story, I really don't think you should give up on it. I love your characters, especially Drake, I think the plot is very well done and in total, I very much enjoy reading your story. I do not find your writing to be substandard. One of the reasons why I frequent this site more then it's kiddy safe version is because I find that the writings here to be on a more adult to novel level writing. I will however apologize for reading but not reviewing. There is no excuse for me doing this other than I am lazy and just never get around to do it. So please, continue to update because I truly do look forward to reading your next update. Until then, ja ne! =^,^=

Ok, s my first review ever on this site. I don't really know what's expected from a review, so how about a comment? I love this story, I empathize with Alex, I can put myself right in his shoes, feeling & reacting just the same way as him. As for writing for yourself & your own enjoyment & at your own pace, that's the only way to go. Thanks for sharing!
