Chapter 17

Jara's Beta training sure saved the day (for both of them!!!!)
I like that... "Keep as much control as you can, ..."
Jara did a great job.

I like this Guanaren wolf, he's pretty honorable and confused,
it all makes him more approachable.

Very satisfying mating scene following the sensuous bathing scene!
And of course... I can't wait to see what happens next!!!! HA!

I really love the world you've created through your Wolfe stories especially all the little details. I kind of knew for a while that Jara wouldn't end up with Semmelin, but for some reason I grew really attatched to him, so this new chapter kind of broke my heart a little. ;_; but still I'm going to continue reading to see what happens next, Jara's mate doesn't seem bad but I'm incredibly biased obviously. Hopefully I'll be able to write a more constructive review later. I'm kind of upset right now; but this does seem to reflect their world (and real life) pretty well, because I guess people can't always have what they want. Although I do wish Jara had been allowed more choice.

I'm sorry, but I could not finish reading this simply because of the way that the Wolfes treat their so-called 'mates'. These are the people continuing your race and making sure you don't die out as a species, and you treat them like dirt all the time?! They are contemptuous and disrespectful of the humans, and they don't give them even a little bit of choice in their own destinies! If I were the humans I'd poison them all in their sleep. I just don't see too much real love and affection here at all. Which is too bad, because generally you are a good writer. But I just couldn't handle it anymore.

I don't think I noticed anyone missing... still found my favorites...Alexi and puppies/kids, Kriston, Kaz/Mikail, Jara... etc. but I'm curious about this mating but not bonding business and if it'll let Jara/Semmelin be together or if that's not an option anymore then I'll look forward to seeing if the new wolf can win him over... sorry for butchering the names... but I still love this fic and hope to see more soon!

I love this story. Very very interesting! And I kind of want Gua (whatever-his-long-name-is) to win! Yay. He seems very cool. Garron really shouldn't fight him unfairly.
