Aw I really liked the interaction in this chapter, how it all came to a climax. Also I think Zechariah is really sympathetic and funny ("Metabailiff" rofl) and I hope to see more of him soon. I also like how Damon is protective and resistant. Loved this chapter!

and I got some commissions done for the characters in the Rind, Rift, Rise series. They all ran on written descriptions so they're probably not that good in relation to the characters in our heads, but I tried and I hope you'll like them. I looove this story

There's actually two more pieces, but those might not be done for awhile, so these are here first :)

Hope the next chapter comes sooooon!!

Thanks for reviewing, all - it really does inspire me to keep writing.

littleolme: thanks! i do love any and all reviews, and i'm glad you're enjoying the story! Keep reading!

Laie: I know, me too. :-(

Lili: Wow. Where do I even begin? I hope the new chapter answered some old questions, particularly about Zechariah and Damon's feelings about what he's done to his clan. Kriston and Damon have certainly become the stars of this story, so there'll be loads more about them.

In other news, I LOVE the pieces you did...I think the curly-haired Roan is my favorite, with Gustin coming in a close second. How long did it take you to do these? It seemed so quick! Your work is awesome, you're awesome, please keep up the awesomeness.

I found your three stories based on this plot and just had to give them a look see. I know I'm really behind on these and hope you'll be patient with the old chapter reviews but, everyone likes reviews so I figured you wouldn't mind it. Your plot is very interesting, I love slash fiction and added to that sci-fi it's just an automatic hit for me. Your idea for male birthing is well thought out, in this chapter you gave some neat details that were buy-able for the story. Heck, it's aliens who knows what would happen huh? From what I get so far Alex; is that correct, cause I've seen it with extra letters on it in different parts of the story? Anyway Alex and a friend of his some how escaped before Garron could mate him the first time but, has been found again. It looks like Garron is going to pick right back up where they left off. I can't wait to see what happens to Alex and his plan.

Aww this chapter hurt. I hope Damon goes back to his usual self and starts clamoring for some rights through he use of his intelligence and any kind of power he has. I think love should be alongside equality, and the stories depress me a little sometimes, because the humans are forced into adjusting and everything. At times, I drift off and start thinking about it and how I wish somebody would change the system or at least show, really show those wolfes the advantages of equality in society. Ahhh it's so sad :(

But anyway, Alyssa! Oh man. She was very brave and stubborn, kind of like Damon, and the part where she cut her wrists was just stupefying and really affecting. I hope Damon finds out about her, maybe through Zechariah or something. All the lies (besides the one about Alyssa, also Kaz and his babies and his memory swipe) and demands on the humans in exchange for their safety and haven from worser things (like the Louts) are not good foundations for love, in my opinion, urgh

Also, Zechariah. I wonder what his personality is like and how much Damon is going to stand up for him, as well as his other clan members when they see him. Is Zechariah going to be really angry at Damon or something? How is he going to react to being mated if Damon can't convince them? How is Damon going to react to putting thirty-something members of his clan in a situation that they might detest? Can't these wolfes give the humans some alone time and let them choose their mates for themselves?? Ahhhhh!!

Sorry I'm being so ornery. I think it's 'cause my favorite character in the series, Damon, has gone and betrayed his clan and all and regressed from the spirited guy he was in the beginning. I think I kind of blame that on the wolfes, and I don't like to forgive Kriston's personality change towards Damon after he got more obedient and "docile". I mean, Kriston used to argue with him a lot, was kind of authoritative, and even hit him before. I think Damon loves Kriston under it all and his children are certainly a factor, but I think Damon--even though he is in love--should not let wolfes rule with such a heavy hand and demand some democracy instead of the racial oligarchy there is.

It's kind of like the rich wife thing. If a rich man marries a woman who doesn't work and depends on her husband financially, she becomes to feel indebted; similarly, the wolfes protect and feed their human mates, and the humans provide them with children and companionship but they aren't free to choose to leave, take their children where they want to, see their family, or even go outside without the permission of their wolfe mate. I mean, even though one might sacrifice a lot of things for love, like Alex did, I don't think they can give up their virtual freedom with that. And sure Alex has a lot of duties, but I can't help feel that when Gaaron asks him a question or says something like "Let's go adopt some kids," Alex doesn't really have a choice. Gaaron did eventually coax him into it, but maybe some of Alex's psyche is more accepting now because he's already used to doing as the wolfes say. Stockholm Syndrome, brainwashing, "adjustment", I don't know, it's not fair T_T

Argh, I hope a really smart observant guy comes to the wolfe compound and starts lecturing profusely on the topic and shares his knowledge with the humans. Furthermore, from my reading I think that most of the humans are relegated to jobs that aren't very dangerous and are always expected to utilise their breeding and companionship capabilities. What if a human wants to be a warrior or a fighter instead of something like a nurse or a planter?

Ahhh this story drives me nuts. In a good way.
Thank you for the chapter and for writing this awesome story!

and thanks for the email! Yup that was good for what I wanted ^__^
I have another question now though XD For the wolfes, are their eyes any different? I think I remember reading that their pupils are a different shape but maybe I was hallucinating, heh
you can just email me or post here I s'pose, sorry for the bother ;;; oh yeah what color are Marik's eyes too?

I really like your story. It's a little hard to fallow at first but I can live with that. It's kind of mean to leave such a cliff hanger then not keep going so please continue!!!!
