Heh, this is pretty cool. I love your writing style and how it mimics the original. It made me smile, to be sure. Even with the parody style, there is some really poetic language in there. It flows nicely and also leaves the reader wanting to know more. You ought to expand on this, maybe include some of the characters' "stories" and such. That would be interesting to read.
