Good character development so far. I like the teaser at the beginning about demon hunting...got me curious right away. I can't wait to see what's so special about this girl.

the glimpses into the types of supernatural powers these people have are interesting. It reminds me of a table top roleplaying game I tried once called Aberrant. Phyre though, is starting to come off as both naive and suspicious in nature, which is perplexing at the moment.

Wow! I really like how Phyre's power manifested there. I love the X-men reference too, I'm a big x-men fan. ^_^
I thought I'd pretty much had the idea of what Phyre and Ember's powers were going to be, but there's definitely more depth here than I was expecting. You were right when you said it gets more interesting. Now...who is this Pheonix person? oO

i can see that you like fire. i do too. ^^ so anyway it seems like its going to be an interesting story. can't wait to read more. just one question. does she work at wal-mart? lol. by the way thanks for reviewing my story and i am working on my next chapter hopefully it will be up within the next two weeks.
