Oh, and I would forget ... I want to see the next chapter of this story, too. Otherwise I will make Shawn ... make a move on Rane! I will! You know me this well to be able to tell I'm not joking. That would mess my story but ... I will. Please, update this, too. You know that I am dead curious what will happen to Jack, I miss him so much!

So now I took the time and read this and I am very glad that I did. It's an awesome first chapter for a story that I know is going to be awesome! Thank you for this. Edward massaging his temples -it was great detail I think, um yeah, it just sticked to my head for some reason. Anyways... Can't wait to see what you come up with next ;)

Ok, I had some more time and reread the chapter the second time, paying attention to details. My opinion ...
A nice beginning. Edward seems to be so ... real. You portrayed his thoughts and feelings really well. That's what a suppressed man like him would think, I suppose. I liked the way he interacted with his students in class. The sentence where you said he expected havoc in class made me actually smile, hehe. Poor guy *evil chuckle*
And Jack ... oh, I can't wait to see more of him. Now he gets my full attention.
On the whole - I loved it. Can't wait to read more ^_^
