For the 3rd freaking time: Damn you aff, post this!!
I would have reviewed sooner but my laptop went freaking crazy. Apparently I got the ONE out of a billion with the bad OS. Dx As soon as I get the printer/scanner/fax machine [xD] I'll scan in that art. [Right now I wish I was more comp savvy.]
You always say un-beta'd but it's never bad. xD I don't even notice any errors. I like the war paint metaphor. ^^ Dude/Joe seems like he would be a good hospice worker. x_x I'm such a weirdo. That's the first thing I think of.

Wheee! Hooray for the new chapters I got to read today! I really like Mark -- he's so lovable when he's vulnerable. And I like the way that you are developing Joe, too. I am quite eager to see how things will go when Joe finally figures out that Mark is not, in fact, twelve years old, but a full-fledged and consenting high school student. And the coming angst when Mark's father comes home will definitely be crazy, I'm sure. Keep up the lovely writing! And just for fun, here is another quote from another great philosopher, Jean-Paul Sartre: "Hell is other people." Seems appropriate, somehow. Can't wait for the next chapter!

O.O I just looked at chappie 9 again... HOLY CRAP WHY DID I SAY IT WAS SHORT? i guess tyme really does fly when your .... um .... reading? Finally!I really couldn't wait for it to be posted. And you did a great job. If you wrote it being tired than I can only congratulate you. So far I didn't spot mistakes ^_^
Markulias? I wasn't expecting this, in fact I wasn't expecting him to be called anything else but Mark. Well, maybe Marko ... *shrugs shoulders*
You know, I liked the fact that you slowed down the pace a bit. You were right, it's too soon. So this chapter is so innocent and sweet even if poor Mark has to face this bastard who calls himself his father. I kind of expect Mark to come back home, he really has no other choice, regardless of what Joe has promised to him.
This much make-up, hah? How does his skin even breathe? Somehow I like the kid without his face paint, just like Joe ^_^
Ok that's basically it. Really good chapter and I can't wait to see waht will happen next. Hugs!
