I also can't wait to see how the party goes...I hope that Mark ditches Britney and crashes the party. Although with all of the rejection he's feeling, I'm sure it won't be a fun night, regardless.

Of course I also have to add that the cliffhanger was extremely evil of you...but easily forgiven because Mark is so cuddly.

Okay, this is the last review, at least for this evening. I can't wait for the next bunch of chapters! I know that Mark's evil father will be coming home any sentence now, and I can't wait to see what kind of awful and angsty things you have in store for that time. I'm very twisted, so my favorite stories involve the wonderful and loveable main character being beaten to a bloody pulp (in body and soul) and then getting a happy, snuggly, lemony ending. So don't worry -- you're in no danger of scaring me off. Get some sleep, and then write, please!!!!

The last chapter was glorious. I love a scared and cuddly Mark -- he is so adorable! (As is an angry and sarcastic Mark, but you understand my point, I'm sure.) The movie scene made me very happy...I'm glad that they didn't go the the park, because there's very little opportunity for snuggling and naughtiness out in the sunshine and grassy knolls. Plus, I'm with Mark on the whole staying-out-of-the-icky-sunlight thing. :) And this last dream sequence was my favorite, I think -- the imagery was really clear and spooky. I can't wait until the next chapter and the much-touted party that the boys will be attending. Mark will be soooo cute, I'm sure, while he struggles to keep from asphyxiating in the sea of teen hormones and booze which make up a high school party. And I'm still anxiously awaiting the moment when Joe (wonderful, patient, and stubbornly-honorable Joe) realizes that Mark is 16. Weeeee! Thanks for the great chapter. Yikes! sorry for taking so long to review but this moving business has me going crazy, but anyways the chapter was once again great. What is dude thinking in taking a "12" year old to a high school party where he hopes to get laid? However, I'm really excited about this, so many possibilities could happen! Can't wait till next chapter.

Ah! There were so many possibilities for what they could have done with that buttery popcorn! I once read a story with that and it was so hot! Update soon please!

Talking about the party was the perfect opportunity for Mark to tell Joe his real age! I hope he finds out soon. And I almost pee-ed myself laughing when Joe's house was described as "a decent sized house". It's got like a dozen bedrooms and bathrooms and living-rooms!!! When Mark was walking through the place it was like reading about his walk through a maze - I'd say that the place is more than decent sized!
