First of all, Yay Update!
Now the chapter: I get what you meant it being plot heavy. It ran very fast but then again it kind of fits I guess... Tim is still a teenager and like all teenagers feelings shift and change constantly. Though I don't think it makes it any less real... at the time...
I really liked Tim's behaviour with Brandon/ How he finally refused to cave into Brandon's self detructive nature, how he finally completely accepted Brandon is flawed and the way he tried to explain the absurdity of his relationship with Michael was brilliant! Another plus, you made me start liking Brandon |(or at least stop hating him) though I think he is one screwed up cookie, I wouldn't mind maybe Tim trying to help -though it should be platonic! At least at the beginning. I still feel Tim desrves better but I'm keeping an open mind!
Tim's mom- I saw what you did there! You used her to confuse both us and Tim- Does Brandon have any deep feelings for Tim like his mom seems to think? Did he really mean it when he said he wished he could be with Tim and comitt? Either way I like this Tim and I hope he continues on his path for a happy life without needing Brandon in it.
See! I wrote a tl;dr review because I care :) Please update soon...

The only reason for my advice was to make you update, so I'm inclined to think it worked :P. I'm ecstatic right now about update. Hmm wonder if user name stalker is free. As for native speaker I had no idea it's not your native language too :).

I loved this chapter. We can see now that Tim has grown up. He's finally thinking in a mature way after all the confusion he's been through. Poor Brandon, I wonder if he can be saved from himself. It's interesting to see how the dynamics between the characters have changed. I hope the symbolic gesture of throwing away the collar will have a deep impact on Brandon's life. It's strange to see him, once so cocky and full of himself, being insecure and in need of help. Maybe in need of love. But is he capable of love, or is he too damaged already? I have big hopes, being a sucker for happy ending stories ;)

You are back! Thank you for updating. I like the way you manage to develop other characters even though we only get Tim's unique point of view. This time I thought it was Brandon but in the end I think I learnt more about Tim's mother, which was an unexpected bonus. Maybe Brandon does need Tim - someone who is that persistent and stubborn might never resign himself to accepting what Brandon had become, like Matt has, but insist on saving him.

Aww, I feel like jumping! Everytime I see an update for this I feel like singing haha. Thank you for the update and I'll eagerly look forward to the next chapter ^^ I really appreciate how the characters are changing and growing, especially Tim. Before I used to cringe and moan for him but now I feel like rooting and cheering him on. :)

Yep, you are right. The probability of making 'Misery 2' with you unwillingly staring in it, is very high if you decide to snuff it. That said have you tried making a list of things you want dear Brandon to do? Or maybe making silly list of 'what would Brandon do if :' for example if some kids decide to include him in snow fight, or what he would wear on Halloween, or what he would said to driver who would almost make him a pancake Brandon etc. I'm not a writer so my advice probably rubbish, but I image that I would tried something like that if I was stuck on character, I mean write some interactions that don't include anybody from the story, just to get in how Brandon should act. For a proper review I think 'WRITE FASTER' nicely includes everything I want to say.

Every few months I'd go through a list of stories that authors had apparently quietly abandoned, either to re read them, or see if by chance they updated. I remember getting to chapter 20, I think, just after you posted it, and being happy that Tim was kidding some hot stranger with a lisp. And then that was it. Story had stopped.
And now I find that you've apparently refreshed the whole thing, And are continuing it. Oh. My. God. Seriously though. This has been on the back of mind with many other gems, for years. So glad to have you back. And hey, you got rid of the treehouse!
