Ok, so I have only just read the very first chapter, but I needed to give you kudoos for managing to make such a 're-telling style' introduction of characters... not boring, but in fact quite amusing and intriguing. Many have tried, many have failed. You kept the pace up, the language quick and without excessive amounts of words, and for once it just worked for me.

I just got finished reading all of your completed stories on AFF. I've only ever reviewed one other person's work, because most of the things on AFF and fictionpress, etc. are just distractions that leave me kind of depressed after finishing them, because I was hoping to find something worth spending time on, and there wasn't anything. You also left me depressed, but only because I finished reading all of your completed stories and wanted more. I might actually break one of my self-imposed rules and read something that's (gasp) not finished. I loved your stories because the characters all seem real. I never review stories, mostly because I feel kind of like a creep chatting up someone whose work I've read, someone I feel like I kind of understand, who absolutely doesn't know I exist. I'm one of those people who would probably throw my coffee on a celebrity I admire, and tell them they're an asshole, just because I can't stand the thought of being some kind of fawning idiot. But in the end, I feel like I owe it to you to tell you that what you wrote moved me at times, made me happy (ridiculously so) when the characters got together, and and made me want more. I've been trying to pick a favorite story, but I loved them each for so many different reasons. I think my favorite character might be Aspen (but if you ask me tomorrow I'll probably pick a different one, because I love them all), and at first I thought I was going to hate him; that he was one of those stupid angelic characters that's 100% fake and unbelievable. But, you pulled him off. I believed he could exist, and I could believe his circumstances. I also really enjoyed the bondage in "It's Like This", because it wasn't over the top, and it really helped illustrate a loving, beautiful, and angst ridden relationship. Also, you didn't use it in order to shock readers, it seemed necessary and fitting. Those were probably my two favorite stories. Don't get me wrong, I also adored "Doorways and Windows" and "A Stage and a Bus" but, every once in a while I found things harder to relate to or understand. If you'd like me to elaborate I don't mind, but I don't really want to make this a message about what I'd change, because that's different for everybody, and truthfully there's not much I'd change anyway. I think it's great that you have characters that aren't in perfect sappy relationships at the end, that they're in real relationships where they might get annoyed with each other, and fight. But I also love that everything ends happily. Real life sucks enough; when I read a story, I want to be happy for the characters in the end. I'm glad to read something that doesn't try to manipulate the readers by being unnecessarily depressing. Anyway, I thought I owed you a thank you, and wanted to encourage you to keep writing. So, thanks.

i think A Stage and a Bus was a good storry and i cant wait to read more of you storry thinking for good storie

I totally loved this story! This was wonderful! Very very good, like, one of my uh, top twenty? Top ten? Don't know. It was soooo good, so funny and you made they express their feelings in a totally convincing way, so moving!

I'm gonna stop there. Thanks for letting us read such a beautiful & cute & moving & funny story! The end is just great. ^^

I ususally read Naruto yaoi. I was looking for something different today. Your story caught my eye and I loved it!!! It was romantic:) I loved how you worked their incounters with each other before they became lovers that was hot! Then the bomb!?!(wow) I didn't see that comming. This was a great story! Thanks for the great read ^_^

this is really cute, seeing as to how my pelvis died (techie doing 52 situps) and my ff and fm bond has been completely decimated. sucks because i've got a vagina... My heart feels good, and i've been looking at emo-toons and reading slash. softcore slash. been skipping the sex bits. So cute though, this fic is so cute, especially towards the end.

man, that ending makes me want to go off and just start quoting tom kerouac or something. So I will

but yeah. that was hot stuff. it's been a nice trip and i want a sequel revolving around the doug the mute, aye?
