Do keep us posted on how the publishing is going. I, for one, would like to read the revised version.

Very nice. (I've missed Lark and Sactaren!)
The changes you describe sound very good - sort of de-cluttering - and making the main story more prominent. Looking forward to buying your books!
Of course, you've got another little mystery going - just WHO is going to cut Lark's throat?
So glad to have your wonderful writing back.

Ah, there it is,
the continuation of my favourite fantasy story here at aff.net. And I take it that you got a contract to publish your story as a book? That's fantastic, congratulations to you! When and where will it be published? I think if it is available here I'm going to buy it!
Anyway, I'm happy to read more from Lark, Kivixl and Co,
Nathaniel

Chapter One
Yay! Finally some more of this story! I really enjoyed the first part, and can't wait to see what all happens this time. Just so you know, I would buy a book like this. Please keep us posted on your publication endeavors. So far so good, although it is a recap of what was earlier in the story. Are you going to still have Lark's specialty persuasion and language? It was established when he found Khas, so I was just wondering. I liked that whole business with Khas. It gave the reader a break from all the sexual angst and insight into the magic, but however you make the story work. Also, I'm a sucker for that kind of thing. I loved the moments with Ged and his pet in the Wizard of Earthsea. :) Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see what happens.

Oh my God. My jaw dropped when I saw that you started the sequel. I am so fucking happy. I love the changes too. So when you get published there's going to be things that I haven't read which is cool. I love the whole shark story infront of Sactaren. It was pretty hilarious. Anyways, I can't wait to see what you have in store for us in your highly addicting, well-written masterpiece. I know, I know. I'm a suck-up. What can I say?

*gasps*
*stares*
*grows lyrical*
In the beginning there was Darkness. I was listlessly going through my favourites, searching for updates. Things were starting to look grim indeed. But suddenly, at my most desperate hour, there came forth a great Light. And then there was Magewise. And I saw that it was good.
***
I'm sort of confused about all the changes but I think I'll manage. There's one thing I'm wondering though; Does Lark still owe Besteth a favour or is that settled?

I am so happy that you have started to post your stories again. During the first Once a Slave I waited every Thursday night for it to pop up onto the screen. Your story caught and held my attention all this time. Good luck on getting it published for i would surely buy one.

(ch 1 the notes) I'm just totally confused. Do we need to go back and re-read the first story in order to understand this sequel since it's changed so much? If the first story has been split into two books, that makes this book three? But, it's labeled II. If it's three, where is the second book?
You've really lost me with that huge list of major edits. I'm guessing we need to re-read Once a Slave the first story, or are your changes to that book even posted on AFF?
