Just so you know, 'the Defenestration' in your title caught my eye and made me read this. I don't think I've ever seen someone use it before, and it made me laugh when I saw it, just because I knew what it meant.
But anyway, I'm glad I read it, cause it's pretty interesting. Not everyday does someone get to become Death, if Ross chooses to. I should probably read on and find out!
On a side note, Alex-IS makes me smile...and cringe a little, but mostly smile.

At the end of this chapter, I said, "Psh! Just stop like that jerk face". I was angry for a moment but I'm over it. So, yeah. Good story.
