OOoh, sorry for not reviewing sooner. Was working full time, Christmas, and just recently, I got sick... and school has begun again. -_- But, I see you've updated quite a bit. Kudos for you!

Hey, are you british by any chance? Some of the things you say sounds "english", which is not bad or anything. I'm very observant and I'm just curious. Btw, I have a british guy called Dale working with me at work, lol, he's a riot. The Shawn guy at work got fired. I won't go into that.

Anyway, about your story... ^^ I got one of my close friends to read it. I think he left a review, I told him to. He likes your story as much as I do and he even lets me know when you updated. Cool, huh? I'm going to get girl to read it, too. She'll like it, too, I know.

The rumor thing...god. I know that. Its horrible. When I was in Middle school, some F***ing jock spread a rumor that I masterbate or something. So...back then in middle school, I was the quiet girl who had friends, but didn't have much of a backbone and didn't talk to a lot of people ((although one time I defended one of my friends (who wasn't present) against a bunch of wenches who were talking thrash about her.

But anyway, to get to the point, the jock spread the rumor and people acted just like they did in your story. Whispering, pointing, moving away from me like I had the plague. The jock and his friend would harass me every day, singing nasty songs and just... it got to a point that I went home one day and cried. And I'm not a crybaby. I'm the type that likes to observe and get to know people, let them talk, before I become their friend. People mistake it for shyness. But anyway, back then, my method of dealing with A-holes was to ignore them. This time, it didn't work very well. A friend of mind (the one I defended once) told my mom and sister that there was a website that talked about me, it was the "Superficial" kids web site, I guess, but it said, "(my name) is in 'touch' with herself". My mom, my sister...they were PISSED! After that, I alerted the school officals (counselors, principal...whatever) and the jock was told to stop. He said he was "sorry". whatever. That ass put me through hell. He's lucky that he didn't try that in high school (I grew a BIG backbone in high school) or else his butt would have been...well...it wouldn't have been pretty. But the rumors stopped and people stopped acting so pathetic.

Someone, at the time, told me she had been a victim of a rumor one time. So, in other words, because these idiots are so bored, they mess with insecure people who just want to be left alone. I don't need crowds of people. I have my group of friends and I'm happy. Of course...most people in high school weren't stupid enough to mess with me. Oh no. but those stories are for another time. I just wanted to tell you because like I said, I know what Uri is going through, at least, a lot of it.

Awww, that part where Shawn smiled at him was so sweet, and then Uri called him hot! LOL. Good. Its getting better and better. *winks* I think one of these days I might draw Shawn and Uri...at least, how I see them.

By the way... americans don't really use the word "fancy"... I think "fancy" is more of a..british term, like in Harry Potter or Bridget Jones. ((no offense here)) Americans use stuff like, "you like her" "she's hot", "I dig him", stuff like that. You said you wanted help with stuff like that. Of course... different cliques say different stuff. -_-' Like the more "hip hop" orientated people say "she's phat", "he's so crunk", or "he's off the hook." So... if I think of anything else that's helpful, I'll let you know.

Hello, and hats off to an excellent story. I will say that I am new to this section of AFF. I usually spend my time in the yu yu hakusho section, but having combed it through well I was looking for something fresh. Your's is amoung my first three original fanfictions that I have read. I always thought they would be not so interesting, but I find yours very entertaining.

Here is a question though, and I'm sure it's already been asked, but since you can't read the reviews until you leave one, I feel I must ask: Is there ever going to be any real action between shawn and Uri??? the suspense is killing me!

As I said, excellent story of drama and angst thus far, keep writting!

CHAPTER 12
'Two more chapters', huh? You ARE a tease! Hehe! I'll wait patiently. I really wander how you are planning on writing that 'action' bit. The story itself is so delicate and yet intense.

Did Rane come out to check on Uri or was there accidentaly? He, sure, left real fast. Looks like Rane is not immune to rumours either. Oh, well, jocks are insecure, ha.

Shawn as good as proclaimed his love for Uri - and not for the first time, even. And what does Uri do? Nearly makes him drown in a cup of coffee! That is not a glorious way to die.

Good chapter, waiting for the next one now:)

Alright, I try to collect my thoughts. What a great chapter this was, definitely worth the wait. I loved the breakfast scene, Shaw was talking about Uri, wasn't he? And the way he watched after him when dropping him off to school -awww...
Feel sorry for Uri, stupid jocks, I hope they're not going to beat him up or anything.

I'm waiting eagerly to chapter 14! and of course 13 too, but yay to 14! hehe. Do excuse me. *smile*

Uri is so torn between needing his brother's support and fighting the attraction he feels for him. But I like the way and pace things develop. And at school he has to suffer because of the rumour, or rather people's stupidity. Kyle is a shining example for that. Someone should start a rumour about Allie, or maybe telling the simple truth would do, considering how she treats her boyfriends. Very nice and long chapter. I'm so curious what happens next.

Oi, this is getting more in depth as it goes. But it makes me wonder when we will finally see some action between those two... and whats up with Rane. I think he might like little Uri as well. Oh and that kiss was just too adorable. Well please update... soon.

My, my ... Jocks are a very unforgiving type of bunch. I should not judge so harshly though, since I am the captin of the girl's varsity basketball team. ^_^ Though me and mine do not act in such ungodly ways towards others. In fact, we happen to have a girl who likes girls on the team. We joke about it with her all the time. (Nothing serious I might add) Again ... another wonderfully written chapter. I do love the way you make Uri sound so ... what's the word? Lifelike. He is someone that a lot of people can relate too. And Shawn ... (Licks her lips) he is drop dead dreamy. XD I like the fact that he can still become somewhat insecure at times when he's around Uri. Though I do feel bad for him, he is practically throwing himself at his little brother and Uri has no clue! Must be frustrating, but perhaps that is one of the things Shawn loves about Uri. I am one of your reviewers who is anxious to see the 'action.' I wonder how it will go about? Will Shawn ask Uri out on a 'date?' Or perhaps they are left alone at home together again? I can not wait for your next update. Makes me jittery. I also want to thank you for your detailed reviews. When I get reviews, I get a flutter inside my stomach that makes me want to write more. So thank you again and update at soon as you can.

Until then ... IndigoCurse

Hey~! I love this story!
I usually hang out in the J-Rock section of this site, but the other day, I happened to wander into the original section and found your story. I realy love it, and can't wait for the next chapter!!!
Uri's adorable. ^^ And I can feel his current pain. I experianced alot of the same thing when I went to school since I kinda unofficially came out. The funny thing is though, especially with the younger girls,I became suddenly rather popular. O_o I dressed in drag for Halloween and after that, I got really mixed reactions. XD
There's a jock at my school named Kyle too. XDD It's funny, I used to chase him around at recess in elementary school trying to kiss him. Ah. Good times. XDD *rolls*
