Nice and slashy. Cool. This is really good, except for the way you keep calling cigarrettes cancer sticks; it's really annoying and I don't even smoke. But still, very nice characters and I had no idea that Julian's mother, Melinda, would turn out to be a vampire- nice twist.

I am SO glad that his sister Emily is not some simpering, save-me-oh-save-little-oh-me cutie pie. I couldn't see Julian caring for someone like that. A little back bone is a good thing. Also very glad to see Lucas is a little piece of nastiness. Not that I don't mind horny yaoi oriented Vampires, but some one with fangs-and-who- knows-how-to-use'em is very intriguing. Good work. More, more, more.

P.S.: I thought I mentioned in an eariler review, but I didn't. Your original draft of this story, the imagery of Julian sitting out in the wood waiting to die, in first person narrative actually kicked started my own little vampire story obsession "Cake." I had written vampire fiction before, but never posted it anywhere and never in the first person. So,Thank You for the initial inspiration. (just thought you should know.)

I am really like Julian's character. Very cold and calculating and seems to be willing to do anything to get his objective. With Lucas, being the anything. Very, very entertaining. Please, Sir, can I have some more?

Ok, I really like this, but I do have one complaint, not really a complaint, more like....a dream: SLASH!!! Seriously, please get to some more slashiness soon!!
