The pacing of the story was done very well, it made it seem more realistic...as opposed to just making Martin submit and grow feelings for them at like chapter 5 (or somewhere early in the story) or making Martin just automatically forgive Sean for raping him. It can be annoying when writers put characters in horrible conditions then make them just accept it and be okay with it in the matter of two chapter, I'm always like "Would u forgive YOUR rapist that easily?" or "Would YOU be okay with getting kidnapped that easily?" lol....so kudos on pacing.

Although I was surpirsed when Martin hugged Sean...I mean, one minute he was saying how something about Sean rubbed him the wrong way or how during the fight with Felicia he had felt uncomfortable around Sean, but then he randomly hugged Sean? It just seemed a little out of character. I do like that even though he isn't actively mad at Sean anymore, he's still uneasy...even though it wasn't necessarily Sean's fault, who would be comfortable around the person who raped them?
It's good to see that Bram is finally recognizing that he went about Martin's assimilation wrong....it def makes him seem even more attractive. Although, I think it is natural for Martin -at this point in the story- to start actually listening, I have to wonder why he isn't a bit more bothered by the fact that he's starting to submit or by the fact that he is sort of being treated beneath all of them (what with sleeping on the floor and all) and he is going to continue to be treated as inferior at the ball, for being something that he doesn't even want to be..I think that after being there so long that it is only natural for him to be a little less rebellious, but at the same time I don't want him to loose his snarky, rebellious edge, that made him so interesting to read about.

I know that Sebastian was an asshole, but I can't help but feel a little bad for him...I mean he did seem like he was the only one left out of Bram's affection througout the whole story...I'd prolly want to leave too if the family's "kitten" was getting more attention than me. Especially now that he's in an even worse position...I wonder what his note said.
Anyways, I'm really enjoying your story and I can't wait to read more...this has got to be the most realistic 'slave/kidnappe' story that I've ever read. :)

This is very interesting and sexy. I don't want to see Martin submitting because I hate the attitude Bram has all, "Hey I'm sorry I kidnapped, humiliated, and tortured you, but I really meant well. Oh, and you can't leave and I expect you to completely bend to my will forever." It really pisses me off. On the other hand, submitting would probably make Martin's life so much easier...you know physically, not mentally. The calm before the storm feeling this chaper has is making me antsy for the next one! I look forward to it!

Yah! What a great way to wake up on a Monday, kitten bondage. Well actually there wasn't really any except for the final punishment for Sean. I don't know if you ever read my vampire saga but right now Sean is rating up there with my Marcus. You kinda want to forgive the guy but you're just waiting for him go off the deep end and do something absolutely horrendous again. I don't know if Sean needs to be liked again but right now...he hurt my kitten and I not in a forgiving mood. My two Canuck cents, which equates to three US in this current market.

Welcome back! I've been haunting your section for a while then time just got away and then wham, ack I'm three chapters behind! I still love Kitten. Brahm is being a little more human which is making him less assish Don't understand the weresnake but I will probably have to start over and read from the beginning. Not that it will be a chore. Keep up the updates. Looking forward to them as always!

Well, this was new! O.o Bram actually trying to explain and all! Well, all in all I like him but my favorite is Martin! I mean really the way you describe the trail of his thoughts, is sooooo amusing!!! I always laugh so hard when reading his thoughts ^_^

I am also curious about Red and Sebastian! what happened to them? :D

I really REALLY love this story!!!

I really liked this chapter. I think a lot of the problems between Bram and Martin came from Bram not understanding how Martin thinks and works. He kept trying to get what he wanted in all the wrong ways, so I'm really happy that they are kind of starting off better now and that Bram actually apologized. I know right now that Martin is just trying to trick him, but I think if Bram keeps up being a nice guy that Martin could really get more relaxed and comfortable. I like how Bram thinks of Martin as special, though that wasn't mentioned in this chapter, because there's two other people that Bram sleeps with and in that type of multiple people relationship I always like one of them to be kind of special, for one pair to fall in love or as close to love as the characters are going to get. Anyway, super happy with the more nice turn of events though I'm worried what the snake's Master will do. He could call for a fair trade and try to take Martin. Bram wouldn't give him up, probably, but the guy could still try.
