@3: this is so great! That one line sums it up: "I’m engaged to be married. I’m having fantastic sex. And I think I’m falling in love." This ties everything up as neatly as a present with a bow for a final touch. I think if I read no more, this would totally satisfy me. But of course, there is a mystery to solve! I like how he just went out to pick raspberries like some pastoral vignette in my mind, and I really like how all the mystery of the events are laid out like a carpet at our feet! I'm ready for a magic carpet ride!

Ahhh - the plot thickens.
What a nice dream Kythos had. And a well-done explanation of Effrem's experience.
Eagerly looking forward to the next installment. (BTW - the quality is very good - definitely worth the wait.)

So many unexpected twists! Arranged marriages? Seeing ghosts? Secret affairs? Oh how the plot thickens!
I think I can faintly see where this is going, but I may need one more chapter to confirm my belief... so, I just won't say anything. ^_^
Always with the great work and cliffhangers... Falcon, give yourself a pat on the back! Or I can do it for you if you want. xD
Snidne out.

@2: My favourite part: "But now, as Kythos approached his own manhood, he realized that age didn’t provide any magically granted knowledge. In the face of such loss, words were meaningless, actions futile. Pain was pain, and people struggled for ways to survive it, like blind birds flying through a storm."
There was so much wisdom in this description, it struck me as so profound. Like a turning point where the boy becomes the man. There are so many wonderful portents in this story I am agog to read more.

Once more, pure genius. It's... what's the word... Well, when I think of it, I'll let you know.
Thanks for reviewing my work too. It's... interesting. Yes... very interesting... ^_^ Love your work still, it's still the picture of greatness. I'm not a big fan of Yaoi, but you make it very enjoyable to read. That is a talent I respect.

@1: I was just thinking about you the other day. I was thinking: "Gee, I wonder how Falc is doing. I wonder if she'll freak out if I emailed her and told her I missed her." Well, I saved myself some typing now, didn't I? Here you are! And I am grinning like a fool.

What a great start! The descriptions are wonderful and I felt like I was actually in this world you created, a spectator watching the story unfold.

I've certainly made a few suppositions - but I won't talk about them.
'Sweet' isn't a word I use often - but it describes very well Kythos' desire to protect Effrem. The only thing that really surprised me was that Kythos enjoyed the sex with Lord Bothain. (Probably spelled his name wrong...)
I Very Much like that you haven't brought up the 'gay' issue. I seem to think like the ancient Romans - sex is sex, no matter who you find attractive.
I'm really enjoying the story, your desciptive skills - and I am enthralled by your characters!

I love everything about the story so far. It's amazingly well written--the dialogue is beleivable and the description are beautiful. I'm completely hooked now, can't wait to see where this goes!
I've also taken a liking to Lord Bothain, I hope he'll be making further appearences *grin*
