I'm not sure I know what just happened. Too many names and things going on all at once I think. So the spy who we thought was a girl is really a boy named Shashiro. And that kid who got hurt was his brother. And um he traded his life into servitude so that his brother could be saved? Hmm why wouldn't they save the kid anyway, you'd think that'd kinda be the nice thing to do...

I think I got it. Just try not to have so many people saying and thinking things at once, it can get hard to follow. Or maybe I'm just too mentally exhausted right now, I don't know.:(

But anyway, nice graphic scenes, I don't see too many fight scenes around here. And I like the descriptions, you're a good detailed writer. I'm interested to see where this goes.

That is precisely right. I'm sorry that the first chapter was confusing, but it was sort of meant to be that way. Specifics will start to be revealed in the next chapter and hopefully clear up a few things.
