What???? Proximo took Alecto, out in the middle of the courtyard? He didn't even bother to check and see if the little slave was alright? What a swine? And how did he find out Alecto's secret? Did someone tell him? If so, who?
Good to see you haven't abandoned this story...

From what? May the gods protect him from what?
Oh, that is so mean to stop there! I just hope you won't be too long with the next update...lol
I mean, I need to know what Tertius is going to do to Alecto...Jealousy can bring out the worse in people, it's already made Tertius sell the one he loves...And what is to become of Aulus? Will Alecto ever see him again?
So just what did Florentina see in Alecto's future?....

Oh, I've missed the story...
Was thinking Alecto would be sold. And instead, Aulus is gone.
How will Alecto handle his life alone? Poor, sweet baby boy...

Why do I get the feeling that soon all is not going to be well in the life of Alecto? Surely it can only be a matter of time before Proximo finds out that Aulus has been enjoying his property? And what will become of the two lovers then?
Good to finally see an update...I'm hoping the next one won't be as long...lol..

I was really beginning to fear you'd abandoned this story. So glad you didn't.
I'm a little confused about what happened between the last chapter and this one. Some sort of 'make-up' surely. Last we saw of Alecto, he'd been raped brutally and was bleeding. (I thought Aulus was an ass!)
Glad they had another tender moment. Proximo has to figure this out sometime.

Chapter 4 review - what an awesome chapter. You captured the pain and the hopelessness of a slave in Rome so well.
And Alecto's strange bravery to face it without breaking down completely.
(I do hope Aulus is going to be sympathetic, though...)
