Not bad, this doesn't bite the big one but you need work. FIRST OF ALL, college students aren't asigned detentions. By then your instructers expect you to be mature enough to either come to class or not. Your first chapter insinuated she was a Highschool students. Your second chaper tells me that she is in college. Make up your mind please because usually college professors will just fail you or drop you from their roster if you miss too many days or fail to hand in a paper. SECONDLY, your sentence structure needs work. You have too many simple sentences, they sound like something from Fun with Dick and Jane, I haven't read any of those since I was six but half your story reminds me of them strongly. Nevertheless you can persevere and hopefully by the time I reach your fourth chaper Hidden Intentions will have improved.

I don't understand. But my two favorite lines are: "Katy awoke for the second time this week not knowing where she was. Now she knew what it
felt like to be one of those popular girls at school." That's effing hilarious. "Damien looked at Katy’s body with lustful eyes which were clothed in a flimsy nightgown (Katy not the eyes)." That's about all I like. Including the whole rest of the plot.

Hmmmmm, could it be damien disguised as Harland...?
