Oh please write more, this is really good. I've always wanted to read this type of story. Tis very very good. The accent writing was a bit hard to read though.

What a nice story you have written!
I've always been a fan of the Little Mermaid, but the Disney version is just too cliche for me. But I enjoy how you've written more along the lines of the true version- how the story has a darker storyline than the children's version.
And I absolutely love the use of Hawaiian words throughout the story. Half of my family is Japanese Hawaiian, so seeing something that relates to that culture makes me terribly happy. Nowadays people don't use much of different cultures; kudos to you for doing so. :]

This was a good start; I like this chapter. About the Pono thing, I heard that in that Disney movie Johnny Tsunamai <----I cannot spell that word. That was what his grandpa kept calling him. It was pretty funny too how he said it. Oh, sorry about rambling about other things besides the quality of this chapter.
