hi just wondering if u think you will ever update this story? really enjoy it.

Hey, I saw this posted a few weeks ago, and just had time to start reading it. It took me a few days, but I finally caught up! :)

This is such a fabulous, addictive story! I feel bad for Tai; he's so messed up. I blame Riley. I'm actually surprised Tai hooked up with the guy Riley sicced on him.

And he's feeling guilty b/c he really likes 'Jenta. Even though 'Jenta is anti-social and just plain weird. lol I think Tai wants to crack him open and see what's really inside. I'd love to be a fly on the wall at 'Jenta's job. I'd love to see him actually interact and TALK with others! lol Especially since HE'S the boss! Hard to imagine!

I love Zack; he's a pisser! And I liked (shit, I just forgot his name!) Lana's friend who works for 'Jenta. He seemed really nice and sweet. He would be good for someone like Tai.

I'm looking forward to the next chapter. I wonder if 'Jenta is feeling jealous, seeing Gage walk out of Tai's bedroom.

Anyway, great job! I love the story! I really like the lyrics interspersed within the chapters too, even if I've only heard of a few of the bands! lol :)

Reading thru your reviews I noticed you posted the first chapter wwwaaaayyyy back in 2006! And then it was like three years later that you updated! I hope that since you posted chapter six in February of 2012, we don't have to wait until February of 2016 for another update......this story is too good to wait so long for a new chapter! :)

I love Mixed tape, I really do, it is my fav story here ever. I don't mind the lyrics at all, I do get a feeling out of them and they make the story special. There, my honest opinion.Now, I love,love this chapter..I mean smex was more to my liking then the threesome.
But it's not just smex, I just enjoyed reading it..Tai going out( I like Daniel and the asian dude) and carrying a troc for Ajenia ahahaha.

Have just come across this story and read it with enthusiasm.

It is an honest story with great undertone of originality in the character Tai, who is genuinely a fun person, with a crappy ‘boyfriend’ who spends most of his time, offering Tai to his ‘colleagues’ as a ‘great fuck’. Tai being human and loving sex, if sex is offered on a plate takes it with gusto, making no excuses.

Absolutely adore the smouldering Ajenia or all those affectionate names that he has been blessed with: Magenta, Jenta, pain in the ass, frigid bitch, by Tai. Especially as the moody, brooding, and attractive, next door neighbour with a past.

I have very much enjoyed reading this story, and look forward to you updating soon.

um... PLEASE UPDATE SOON. I love this story! I found it today and read as fast as I could! I sort of skimmed through the Reggie/Riley/Tai scene though -- not because it wasn't well written, but just because it was written so well that the imagery made me cringe. Great job and post more NOW! :)

I never lost hope but can it be, my 'hard but real fluuf and they don't even need to fuck' story is gonna get updated soon?

I just wanted to say that this is a really fantastic story so far--it has a great mix of short term smut while the main character has really...humiliating/derogatory (if that makes sense in this context) sex with his current fuckbuddy-without-the-buddy-part while slowly developing a more substantial and healthy interest in a new guy living in apartment building. Wow, that was a really wordy sentence, sorry. Personally, it was a little depressing for me since I have friends that have the same low self-worth the main character repeatedly displays, but the characterization is beautiful.

Oh! I forgot to mention: Rileys a bitch. I hate him. Pasionately. When Reggie, or whatever the prick's name was, was teasing Tai I was really REALLY hoping that ~woosh~ Ajenia (did I spell that correctly? oops...)) would come back for whatever reason before they started fucking him so that Tai would have an out. *sighs* dammit Tai, why do you have to be such a slut? *hits forehead* Ugh. I'm a little disappointed in him for the whole thing, not that it wasn't hot, it was, but let's just be honest here. We're all rooting for Ajenia (again, sp?) here. Tai needs to become reacquainted with his hand for a while before that can happen though. Dammit Tai. "Too stubborn" my ass. If you were too stuborn you wouldn't have just had a threesome. And, sweetie, you really need to make getting an STD check a top priority since you aren’t using condoms for all your little escapades. Ok, I'm done ranting to the characters as if they're real now. (die Riley, DIE!! [can he be castrated in a freak accident? Please? Pretty please?])

On a different note, omg, I love you. You actually filled out your recommended reading section! Thank you so much! If more people did that it would be so much easier to find a decent fic to read without sorting through as much crap. That was how I found your fic (thank you lividfire) and, of course, I've added this to my own rec'd reading section.

Anyways, I just wanted to say thanks for posting this and for suggesting fics. I can't wait to finish reading it!
