Line that made me laugh uber bad:
“Protected by Three something’s.” Imad looked up. “A god and two jins."
Squee! I have no idea, but I just found that hilariously funny. Yeah. She's got a god...AND two almost-all-powerful, more-powerful-than-genie peoples on her side! Ha! -chuckle- But yeah...I absolutely loved this chapter by the way. I know I've had several that were going on my favorites list, but this one...ooohhh, I like this one.
I just realized, I'm in love with Abdel! Rami is still shmexy and sweet...but poor Abdel is just plain hilarious! He's so quiet and smart and oooohhh Abdel and Calypso! I want a fic with that! I really do! In fact, I almost want to write it myself! But, they're your characters...so I won't touch them. xD Still though, when she was getting all flirty with him...I was grinning like a madman...with those wild, fuzzy warm things bouncing around in my tummy, yeah? Phht. That sounded so juvinille...but that's what it felt like!
And Fenris was so CUTE! An animal god! And a child god at that. Now see....the way you set him up, it didn't feel odd to imagine him as a childlike figure. (Absolutely loved the whole 'girls got cooties' thing, btw. -grin-) I suppose with Delilah...I was just expecting a more mature 'goddess'...but you described Fenris as a young deity right from the beginning, so it all fit together right well.
And now Kitten and Rami are getting married! Squee! -swoon- And did I hear something about a love scene?? BWAH! It's wedding night! You must do it! If you don't do it, I'll do it for you! :gonk: Ok...so I couldn't really...but still! I think it's a cool idea. Can't wait for the (possibly) final chapter...but I look forward to a happy wedding night! Oh, and...-huggles Abdel for emphasis- *muchlove* G'night! And thankies bunches for your review of "Three Wishes". ^^

Dang. Delilah didn't strike me as very...godlike (goddesslike, whichever). She really did sound like a spoiled brat. And, um, shouldn't Kitten have been just a little more careful? I mean, I'm pretty sure gods/goddesses are supposed to be more powerful than genies...certainly if they can create them (which is what you said Delilah did to Rami). And yet, Kitten is just going off on her about her 'tacky' hair color and clothing style? And, Kitten just got her powers, yet, she was able to catch Delilah's attack, send it back at her, and the goddess wasn't able to do anything about it? She doesn't seem like much of a goddess if she can't dodge/deflect the re-directed attack of a juvenille, first-day genie. But hey, maybe that's what you were going for. -shrug-
Anyway...it's nice to know that Kitten's dad is finally in on everything! I hated having him in the dark all the time, cause he certainly deserved to know. And, we here a bit more about Abdel's own past and purpose in this whole little charade. Much fun. I enjoyed the fact that Rami, along with both Leon and Abdel, were very protective of Kitten, not wanting her to get involved an all, but Kitten's reaction frustrated me. It just seemed so much like the typical romance-novel heroine, the beautiful girl who has it all including the 'fiery spirit' that her hero loves so much, who's determined to be bold and brave even if common sense is weighing strongly in favor of her lover's protective instinct. I know it would suck to be trapped away, but personally, if I had just gotten brand new powers and had no idea how to use them, I don't think it would be very smart to just go out there and try to take on several thousand-year-old evils from the depths of hell, you know? Especially when there's already a Jin (who's been a Jin for a long while presumably), another Jin (who used to be a genie so basically already knows how to use his powers), and the father who she loves and trusts more than anything in the world, and just so happens to be a very intelligent man with plenty of experience and strength, already out there waiting to fight the evil off for her.
Now, I do understand not wanting to be held back...but totally going over the top about it probably wasn't necessary. Maybe a little work on trying to figure out how to use her powers? Then reasoning with her family, lover/almost lover, and friend that she could stay in the background somewhere as back-up support? But, aye, it's your story. And I still look forward to the next chapter. Because you definitely did leave us off with a nasty little cliffhanger! Sorry I didn't reply yesterday, but over the eMail you had told me you wouldn't be updating today, and I ended up going out to a party with some friends of mine, didn't get back until late and never really got the chance to leave a proper review.
Hope you update soon, and good luck with whatever you're working on at the moment! ^^

Lol. I was mostly joking about the dogs/Kitten in heat thing. Heh. (Didn't I tell you I was in disguise? But you must promise not to reveal my secret identity...whahahaha! -cough- -Ahem- Hehe...yeah.) Such an adorable new chapter! And evil! And desturbing...and-! Of, foo it. I'll start at the beginning and work my way down.
EVIL SNAKE MAN!! -cough- Now that that's out of my system...ouch. He sounds disgusting...reminds me of the snake-faced Voldemort (yes, once again, I'm citating Harry Potter...I'm not obsessive...I swear!). Anyway...Aziz sure has some pretty shady characters he works with in the background, eh? And it ticks me just to know that now there's evil magic out there...poor Rami! But I haven't gotten to that part yet...
The squeefulness! I thought it was absolutely to die for when Rami asked for permission to marry Kitten...and surprising her in the process! I wish I had a cool magical boyfriend/future husband/fiancée like that... -goes all dreamy-eyed for a moment- -snaps out of it- ANYway...very very awesome. Bold, upfront, and sweet as hell! Well...hell isn't necessarily sweet...but we'll ignore that for the time being.
Abdel! I got so mixed up with all the confusing names that started with 'A', and then all the names that started with 'B'...that I couldn't really keep very good track. But now I know he's a good guy! (Right? ^^;) And he knows Rami's a genie! And he's happy, and he's there to protect them for some reason and ooohhhhh...will he rescue them now? Pretty pretty please? And where did Rami go! You said he fainted/went unconscious in the smoke...and then he was gone! I do hope he wasn't captured by anyone...I want him to be able to rescue Kitten too! GENIE TO THE RESCUE!!! -coughingfit- I'm done now...I swear. Well, I'd say she needs her 'knight in shining armour'...but 'genie in thin, multi-color fabrics with magical swirly colors and a shmexy smile' just doesn't roll of the tongue quite so easily... Even if it is a cool mental image. WHAHahahhaa! No really. I'll stop harrassing you.
Farewell for now! And I'm totally looking forward to the next chapter...once again!
