I like the scene with Kaia. Camion and Surin's thing was a bit odd, but it was a good insight into the emperor's personality, since everything the reader knew before that was from the kidnap. Overall, awsome. I really like how you're changing up the types of scenes you're writing, and the knew characters are wonderful.
