Another good chapter. I don\'t know what to think of Rue, just like Joe =) Oh, reading these trans stories is just so new to me. *grins* I keep thinking that Rue really is a girl. Anyway, enough of my confusion, just keep writing! :)

(totally keep forgetting to one, label.. and two, sign in.. oh bother)
ch. 3: It\'s got a nice twist to it... a sort of.. settled in feeling for the characters that you\'ve been very careful not to disrupt, allowing everyone to pretend the course of life is always this naturally easy going. Or rather, allowing everyone to slip into life naturally. Things just happen and everyone takes the moments each one at a time. Unless it\'s a serious issue, there\'s no issue.
So far, everyone is just managing to make it, no huge disruption to anyone\'s life and a lot of stability. I can\'t help a slightly malevolent chuckle (which would not be there had this been anything near to real and nto characters we\'re allowed to treat abominably) at thinking of how that stability is bound to be shattered some time.
Best of luck in the writing. You\'re doing beautifully so far.

I like the way you write and I am interested to read more even though usually I don\'t warm up to Trans story\'s, but I think thal I have to make an exception with this one.

Joe is so sweet. I\'m noticing that some of the sweetest guys are the \"tough\" guys, not saying they aren\'t tough but they aren\'t assholes. It\'s nice to see Joe taking care of Rue. AWWWWWWW......your story makes me feel fluffy.

Oh my goodness. I\'m agog at all of the talent in just a simple first chapter! A very wonderful beginning and I look forward to the next (happy that there are two!) as well as am rather enchanted by your bad boy hero you have (in particular, the listings he goes under - \"a frequent to the drunk-tank. The fastest and second most reliable mechanic in all the slums and the frequent starter and general finisher of bar brawls and the supreme mower of Mary Braggsford’s grass.\" Hee hee. Gorgeous piece of work and I cannot wait to read more of what you\'re got!

Oh boy. ... Well.. err... I gotta say, Vic is taking this WAY better than me. What a wonderful surprise! You pulled it off so fabulously that it really WAS a huge surprise - no hints, nothing.
