This is where Savannah needs to go find Marcus in jail. The cops don't care, this is where we need the criminals to step in. I'm sure he still has connections from prison, he can take care of Tony. I just wish Gwen had told him from the point where he first started harassing her, when he was in a better position. And she wouldn't have had to go through what she just went through. I hope we get a new chapter soon and I hope things take a turn for the better. I don't want to see Gwen forced into working in a whorehouse. That would make me very sad:'(

I'm glad to see an update from you. All my favorite author's have been disappearing lately, I'm glad you've come back. I can't wait to see updates from your other stories too. I want to see what happens with Shay and Randy and Keith and Vincent. But on to this story:

If only Marcus had been able to take care of Tony before he was arrested. Though I'm sure he could still do something from prison. 'Protect your woman, Marcus.' I'm glad he's not angry with Gwen. He really does love her, which makes that whole thing really sad. Why couldn't he have really been an architect :'( Gwen deserves her happy ending. I really hope she doesn't cave to Tony, and I hope he doesn't do anything worse than what he did to Slim. I kind of hope that Marcus'll hear something and take care of him from prison. Or that Gwen'll let something slip and then Marcus will take care of him from prison. Or that maybe he just has some freakishly, random accident and dies. He should get MRSA and die, HA. But more seriously (though I do wish he'd die), I can't wait for more updates from this story and your others. I hope that Marcus won't disappear completely because he really and truly did love Gwen and that should count for something.

Wow..... seems like Marcus isn't such a nice guy after all. At least not to anyone other than Gwen. And I guess this marks the end of that relationship, especially if Gwen helps bring him in. On a slightly different note, that's why I just don't like cops. They manipulate and play on fear of prison to get people to do what they want. Who cares that she might be putting her life at risk? And that there's no real guarantee that Marcus will be forgiving if he finds out that she helped get him arrested, or caught at least? They could just figure out a way to do it themselves and leave the innocent person out of it, but nooooooo. They want to easy way at someone else's expense.

Sorry, rant over. Just living in Miami, I've developed a real dislike of cops. But this chapter definitely threw me off a bit. I was expecting that Marcus probably did something illegal, but I wasn't really expecting drugs. Or for Gwen to find out from coppers, I actually was thinking Marcus might tell her, however reluctantly. And he killed Carlos, wow. I wasn't expecting him to do that either, but I guess given his position it's not too far out of the realm. Now I definitely want to know what's going to happen next. Poor Gwen, finally found someone she really loved and who accepted her as she is and now it looks like it's all unraveling. Is it bad of me to hope that Marcus gets away and Gwen goes with him? *sigh* Oh well, I hope your next update comes soon.

*ahem* Along with updates for some of your others stories *Truth behind the lies and Our Humble Little Dwelling* :) I love those two stories and I'd love to see something from them too *Hint hint*:)

I'm seriously imagining Marcus being like a hitman, or a mobster. But I could be off track and he could be something legal, like a secret agent or something :D But I can't wait to find out what it is. And I'm very curious about what'll happen whenever Marcus finds out that this dude Tony is messing with Gwen. I'm guessing he's the one who lit the diner on fire. Feel sorry for Slim. It would be interesting though if Marcus' profession comes into play whenever he finds out about Tony and Tony really regrets screwing with and badgering Gwen so much. I hope that she tells him. It's better to get these things out in the open on your terms and not someone else's. I did have one question: Whatever has happened to Robert? It would be nice to get a little update on him.
